@JerseyMade93 Wait 10 years and these will look sick. We’re just in the trough of the aesthetic cycle for the mid-to-late 2000s era.
Just look at how late 90s/early 00s has looped back into style in recent years.
@Pre_Malone@AutismCapital Man fucks goat on or around May 26-31.
Days later, between June 1-7, man has orgy with multiple women.
He’s still a goat-fucker.
@WkndatBurnies Shaq in 2002 & 2003.
90s centers were gone. Dirk, Duncan and Garnett were PFs.
They sneak a young Dirk into the all-NBA 2nd team as a C … but it’s otherwise Mutumbo, Jermaine O’Neal, and Ben Wallace as the other all-NBA centers.
Yao closes the gap in 2004.
@jimstewartson This seems like good news for index fund holders.
As one myself, I’d much prefer retail investors who choose to invest in SpaceX be there to provide exit liquidity over index fund holders who have no choice.
@TheCinesthetic The trick with Tenet is that there’s nothing to get … it’s a heist movie with a well-executed tech demo on what time travel effects might look like.
@gs723@ac_pod@JuddLegum Right but being regulated as a commodity is the loophole the prediction market industry is using to make online gambling legal … so they have to abide by those regulations.
@77imlab@anthonyVslater@BannedMacMahon City size doesn’t matter here.
Clay Bennett and his ownership group just aren’t super wealthy by NBA standards. They have unwisely cut costs (Harden trade) in the past. The NBA has gotten BIG and small time owners (even the Buss family) have struggled to keep up.
@StoicYield@WazzCrypto Let’s say your car gets broken into three times.
Sure…all they take is $300 each time in sunglasses and electronic accessories (equal to about 1% of your car’s value).
But you’re definitely not parking your car in the same spot again…
@spencer_askew Ironically Star Wars is the one franchise with a completely plausible, internally consistent explanation for this in the force, which uses things like fate to bring balance.
Remember, the series begins with two droids randomly locating Luke and connecting him to Obi Wan.
@Noahpinion Ecosystems are complex systems so the results of introducing new inputs have unknown consequences. Add entropy and the probability of those consequences being negative is high. So we should generally avoid that if we can. Same basic idea of Black Swans and Nassim Taleb.
@ProudSocialist Everyone forgets about the Spanish Civil War and how Hitler’s Germany, Mussolini’s Italy and the Catholic Church all actively supported Franco and his fascist movement. Very clear who was on each side.
@deanisreal_ I have no problem with this.
It’s the wearing of alternates during the playoffs I have a problem with.
I just don’t get the economics of hurting your billion dollar branding in exchange for marginal jersey sale money.
@AceVenturaPDect@FastbreakHoops5 I think they’ve become underrated because of this.
This was the consensus as they were winning it but looking back their team was stacked (Kawhi, Van Vleet, Notmal Powell, Gasol, etc) and now seem fully deserving of a being hailed as a championship team.
@MZavagno11 I’m not sure it is.
Which perpetually bad teams (pre-Ballmer Clips, Bulls, Bobcats/Hirnets, Kings, Pelicans) were just bad lottery luck and not bad ownership?
Worst thing you can do is subsidize bad ownership by handing them your best young talent.
