I cannot stress this enough; In a (largely) binary choice such as the current elections have pitched before us, we don't have the luxury of sitting on the fence. We're either for or against. So if you're criticising Obi, you're implicitly in favour of BAT. Simple and short. If you think both are bad, the criticism of either is pointless in an election period; come back after the elections and work to put better people on the ballot.
For me, I'm firmly in support of Obi because he represents a better option than BAT. He's not perfect; I don't need him to be! He just needs to be better than the alternative and that he clearly is.
For one, Mr Obi has addressed the country more often than an actual sitting president who's presiding over a country in serious security and economic crisis. So I don't care for the content of Obi's media appearances; at least I dey see am steady. Whereas I no dey see the person wey suppose be my president.
The alternatives set the standard.
The country cannot succeed with politicians who have this kind of appetite. And you will never curb this kind of appetite unless you forcefully send a message that will never be forgotten.
Everything else is just surface dressing.
I'll counter this narrative anywhere. Do you people know half the things Obi has had to deal with for the last four years? You think it's everything that enters the public eye. And even in the public domain, a sitting governor threatened Obi and his convoy was attacked.
That Obi is still in the conversion with the evil that APC is capable of is all the evidence you need of a gritty and persistent leader that Nigeria needs. One who will stare down the evil cabals holding us back while sticking to his principles.
Obi has done his part by getting on the ballot. It is up to us the people who want a better Nigeria to put him in Aso rock.
But fr, that bastard said he immediately removed fuel subsidy so the Government can inject the money into other things..
Almost 4 years in and the average Nigerian still cannot feel the positive impact of subsidy removal. Bro removed it so his cronies can steal it.
I’m amazed at people who are addicted to consuming content that triggers them.
Can never be me. If the algorithm starts to move weird, I immediately start pushing the “not interested” and “show less content like this” buttons.

"We can disagree and still be friends".
Yeah sure but on things like pizza toppings and never on things like women's rights or if APC should remain in power.
