I am delighted to share the story that we've been crafting at the @UoDCeTPD in collaboration with @Tocris@biotechne for the last to years! We're thrilled to present BromoCatch - a self-labeling tag platform for protein analysis and manipulation.

Excited to share our latest work combining VHL and CRBN in a single trivalent PROTAC to boost protein degradation. Great #TPD collaboration with @georg_e_winter and Kristin Riching, led by @AdamBond_ Miquel & Celia in each lab @UoDCeTPD@CeMM_News@promega https://t.co/bogZzn4ic4
Very happy our work on improving VHL ligands is now out @ACSBioMed#jmedchem great teamwork with Michael Gutschow and co. at Bonn. We design a new di-Methyl analogue of VH101 (cmpnd 30) and qualify it as the most potent VHL inhibitor in vitro and in cell https://t.co/Exk6Lco6p6

Here, in addition to describing a novel modality within the TPD field, namely an intramolecular glue degrader, we also shed light in an intrinsic BRD4-DCAF16 interaction. Perhaps this answers why BRD4 is such an easy target for PROTACs + glues! Thread below from. Great work all!

@pwk2013@ToriKleinPhD@alessiociulli In all cases the esters were as stable as their amide counterparts in plasma and remained active in our biological assays. We have not looked into taking away the carbonyl but that is something we could look into
Our amide-to-ester subsitution paper is finally out now in J Med Chem!
Big thank you to co-first author @ToriKleinPhD, to Conner Craigon and to @alessiociulli and Scott Lokey for helping to put together this cool story! https://t.co/lvY3jOKBt9
