@FatManTerra @sassal0x Unfortunately the Solana ecosystem doesn't have the liquidity depth/maturity of other networks yet and teams need to build accordingly.

It should never have reached a stage where one whale was so dominant, Solend should have built in more risk management/limits into the protocol

I never personally invested or used Celsius for the fact it was custodial.

I'm so surprised that a company with traditional finance roots and such a heavy retail userbase would expose themselves to a risk like that. Its fascinating what greed can do to decision making.

Whats happening with $CEL is exactly why true DeFi projects use smart contracts to pre-determine and regulate the usage of assets in a non-custodial way.

The fact that a few people were able to control so much customer money with such little thought is so shocking.
