I’ve been chewing on this for the last few days.
In the span of about 24 hours, I heard three different people say essentially the same thing. It felt like one of those moments where you stop and think, “Maybe I need to pay attention.”
This isn’t a new lesson for me. I’ve already found it to be true. But I feel like I’m learning it in a much deeper way right now.
Just wanted to share it in case someone else needed to hear it too.
This song is sludgy, a little long, and not super flashy—but damn, it felt good to crank this out yesterday.
The algorithm will always be a mystery to me. I don’t know if I’m cool enough to get clicks, and honestly, I’m convinced my music—while decently executed—isn’t the kind that stops someone mid-scroll.
But if nothing else, I hope this inspires a few people who’ve lost touch with their passions to dig in and create. I know how impossible it can feel when you’re a parent, husband, and professional.
Anyway, enough rambling. Hope you enjoy.
Woke up in the middle of the night with this song in my head—had to get it down before it disappeared. Ever had that happen? What does this remind you of? Let me know in the comments.
I’m excited to announce my new rock project, VESPR! My first song, ‘Pretty Little Things,’ drops on March 28. I’ll be sharing the pre-save link on Instagram soon, so follow along and stay tuned. Thanks for your support!

My name is Adam. I’m a 38-year-old husband, father of 3, and small business owner. Finding time to make music is hard, but I’m releasing my first single in five years and it would mean the world if you could pre-save it. I wrote, recorded, and mastered the whole thing myself.
