So I just went through Ecuador’s starting XI to see their ages and club they started their career at.

Caicedo, Pacho, Hincapié obviously the highest profile players for them, they’re all 24 and came through at Independiente Del Valle.

Vite who’s partnering Caicedo in the pivot is also 24 and came through at Independiente Del Valle.

Both wingers came through Independiente Del Valle and are 25 and 23 years old.

Ordóñez who has done really well for Club Brugge and will likely be getting a big move soon is 22 and came through at Independiente Del Valle.

Franco the RCB came through, yeah you guessed it… Independiente Del Valle.

This is a serious golden generation for Ecuador at the moment and that Independiente Del Valle club/academy is producing at an insane rate.
