@Ms_VPalmer Valerie,
I have only incorporated AI once and it was for a project. I would love to incorporate it more, I just do not know how to do so. I would love to learn more information! #wuedt6020
@MadiPSteele Madison, in my classroom I reward students for accuracy and not just the most answered or length of time on an activity. Looking for accuracy has really helped students take this more serious in my classroom. #wuedt6020
@KinderJM24 Great question Jessica! Personally, my biggest challenge is keeping the buy-in consistent. Once we play a game, the next day it is all that they want to do. It becomes difficult at times to keep students engaged. #wuedt6020
@jorfleming1818 At my school, we use Talking Points. This platform allows us to contact home and it comes through as a text message to our students families. It is easily accessible and it is easier than waiting for an email response! #wuedt6020
@JJefferiesWilmU Jonathon, I think these applications are engaging and beneficial for students. Some of my students even create their own blookets and and send a game code for their friends to join. My students love it! #wuedt6020
@AlexisWilmu6020 I LOVE this question. It really made me think about this. I think it can go both ways but overall I think it increases communication because students are so involved that they help one another out and show each other new things! #wuedt6020
@Ms_VPalmer Valerie,
You are the 2nd person to mention Gimkit. I looked into this recently and LOVE this tool! I am so sad I have been missing out on this tool but I am definitely adding this into my classroom! #wuedt6020
@EDTKAYLEY@KFranklin923 Kayley,
My school district also uses facebook to share out information! School spirit days, staff members of the month and student recognition! It is a great way to keep the community involved! #wuedt6020
@KinderJM24@KFranklin923 Jessica, I love your virtual field trip idea! I use youtube a lot in my classroom and we use it to watch videos based on the topic we are learning. For example, we are talking about Space Achievement and we watched the speech that JFK gave! #wuedt6020
@KFranklin923 My district uses social media as a method of contact (class dojo). But we also use social media to share to the community the amazing things students are doing in school. Specifically, in my classroom we use Youtube to visualize certain topics! #wuedt6020
@JJefferiesWilmU@KFranklin923 I have always heard of Minecraft but I personally have never played. A lot of my students play, and I think it would be amazing to add into the classroom! It would definitely boost student buy in! #wuedt6020
@KviiilynM@KFranklin923 I would love to do this as well! I think video games would be a great idea to implement into curriculum! Students would not only be more confident but engaged as well!This is a great idea! #wuedt6020
@KFranklin923 Some emerging trends I want to implement into my classroom is more gamification. I use blookets often but I would like to implement the use of VR as well. I have incorporated A.I imaging into a few assignments and the kids LOVED it! #wuedt6020
