@B_Farrell9 I completely agree! It can be such a helpful tool, especially for mind-numbing tasks like grading. I think more teachers should be open to using it! #wuedt6020
@jorfleming1818 For the most part, I use email/Outlook to communicate with families. I think there are definitely more effective resources/platforms I could be using, and I'm definitely open to checking them out! #wuedt6020
@AdamsEmilylynn My most-used gamification tool in my classroom is Gimkit! I absolutely love Gimkit. It has become basically essential for reviewing for vocabulary quizzes. My students love all of the different game modes and have so much fun with it! #wuedt6020
@MeganBarne83105 Since my emerging topic has been AI, I have a lot of feelings about this! Personally, I think students should absolutely be able to use AI in the classroom. However, I think it needs to be viewed as a creative outlet and heavily monitored! #wuedt6020
@ldlred4 @KFranklin923 This is a really neat idea!! You're actually getting to interact with other cultures through food, which is such an important way to connect with people. I think it would actually be really neat to use websites like Instagram to show the results of the recipes! #wuedt6020
@Mysticnocturne@KFranklin923 This is such an amazing idea!!! I think that would work so well in ELA, with students meeting the authors of the books they're reading! That's awesome :) #wuedt6020
@KFranklin923 I haven't been able to implement it personally, but I think using digital "pen pals" to connect specific clubs across the country or world is a great way to extend cultures. This way, students can interact with others like them through social media! #wuedt6020
@EDTaudra@KFranklin923 I think it's super interesting that you're viewing AI as a positive and want to use it in your classroom. I would also love to use students' creativity as an advantage in AI. #wuedt6020
@B_Farrell9@KFranklin923 This sounds so cool!! I'm sure VR is such a cool tool to use with small groups. I would love to use VR with my 8th graders! #wuedt6020
@KFranklin923 I know everyone is talking about it, but I desperately want to implement video games into my classroom. As a gamer myself, I would love to use games like Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Scribblenauts, and Among Us/Lethal Company to teach students. #wuedt6020
