#topoli At what point will @cityoftoronto face the harsh fact that the overwhelming presence of heavy construction machinery/vehicles operating in cramped public spaces in the core represents a clear & present danger to pedestrians, cyclists, even other drivers? @MayorOliviaChow
Louis March was a dedicated champion of our community and pushed for the first Friday of June to be declared National Day Against Gun Violence in Canada. He was also instrumental in the City of Toronto taking a public health approach to gun violence, addressing its root causes.
Toronto has lost one of its strongest activist and community leaders. He was not only fighting for the Black community but for all Torontonians to be safe from gun violence. RIP Brother Louis! Thank you for the respect @JoannaLavoie https://t.co/2WQYkoYYfJ
At CAFCAN, we are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of our respected elder Louis March.
Louis March, with over 40 years of dedicated community activism, was a truly inspiring figure with unwavering commitment and passion for the African Canadian community. (1 of 3)

Homelessness is a policy choice that leaves people with impossible decisions.
As long as I have known @yipengGe, he has been committed to equity, anti-racism and justice. He has been unjustly suspended from residency, without due process, for supporting Palestinian human rights. Please tell @OttawaU this is not OK. https://t.co/9ohHTVxOss
