I'm officially entering my Builder Era. 🛠️
After years of consulting, I'm going all-in on building two ventures in public:
https://t.co/k2PZjlO563 (AI Automation Agency)
https://t.co/30Uu9c1z1e (B2C SaaS)
I'm documenting the entire journey—code, wins, and losses—right here. 👇
$400k bitcoin recovered after 11 years using claude
Most takes: "AI IS INCREDIBLE"
Real take: this guy bought a $1500 lottery ticket in
2015 (5 BTC at $300) and won 11 years later because
AI got cheap enough to be his lawyer
most founders think running 3 campaigns is safer
than running 1
watched an agency owner make this mistake on a sales
call. 3 services, wanted a campaign each. called it
diversifying
had the volume for 1
splitting 3 ways doesn't de-risk. you end the quarter
with 3 blurry maybes
pakistani founder ships a free AI tutor that sees your screen and talks you through any software in real time. 320k views in a day.
farza been building since buildspace days... this is what happens when builders just ship instead of planning for 6 months
I built this thing called Clicky.
It's an AI teacher that lives as a buddy next to your cursor.
It can see your screen, talk to you, and even point at stuff, kinda like having a real teacher next to you.
I've been using it the past few days to learn Davinci Resolve, 10/10.
This is the part nobody talks about. Building is the easy part now. The actual work is: who's paying, why, and can you automate the acquisition loop so you're not manually hustling for every customer. That's where the real leverage is.
@sukh_saroy 47 tools in 90 days is impressive shipping speed. But the hard part was never building. It's getting someone to pay. I'd rather build 1 thing that solves a real problem and automate the entire sales pipeline around it than ship 47 things hoping one sticks.
Building an app in 2026 is like starting a podcast in 2019. The barrier isn't skill anymore.
It's whether you ship or sit on the idea for 6 months.
I built a full CRM with pipeline tracking in 72 hours using Lovable + Cursor.
No backend team. No funding round. Just build.
@mattshumer_ The taste part is what really hits. It’s not just a tool following a script anymore; it’s making the same calls I’d make after an hour of second-guessing. 5.3 feels less like prompting and more like handing the keys to a collaborator who actually gets it.
If the honest answer is “then we’re dead”, you don’t have a moat.
If the answer is “we still own the workflow, the data, and the outcome”, now you’re building something real.
I built an AI Startup Moat Checklist for this exact question.
Reply 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗 and I’ll send it over.
Perplexity just shipped an AI agent that replaced what used to be a ~$225K/yr stack of marketing tools.
Claude just shipped Code Review and turned “AI PR review” from a startup thesis into a default checkbox.
This is the new AI reality:
Phase 1: Point solution proves demand
..
Perplexity Computer replaced $225K/yr in marketing tools in a single weekend.
We built an AI marketing agent that scans hourly, manages budgets, detects fatigue, and coordinates several campaigns end to end.
In one test run, it made 224 micro-optimizations to our ad stack.
Phase 2: Platform eats the feature
Phase 3: Only products that own a full workflow survive
If your startup pitch is “we do X with AI”, you have to answer:
“What happens when OpenAI / Claude ship X as a toggle next quarter?”
the android app's been live for a while but we're finally getting MealNow on iOS
Turns out building a food app that works on one platform is one thing
Making it feel right on iPhone is a completely different problem.
AI chef chat, smart pantry, meal planning all shipping over
@AskPerplexity the $225k replacement number is the hook but the real story is the workflow design. most teams will plug this in and still waste money because they don't redesign the process around it. the agent isn't the hard part.. knowing which 224 optimizations actually matter is
@aidenybai makes sense for codex/claude code specifically
cursor and lovable already have this natively
Yeah if we're running agents in the terminal, we need something external to grab context from the UI - good solution for that gap
Reminder: vendors can lose contracts, win app stores, ship shiny features… and still go offline.
AI tools are contractors, not oxygen.
Have a Plan B before your favorite model becomes a “Claude will return soon” screenshot.
Anthropic loses a $200M Pentagon deal… so they ship free Memory + import, hit #1 on the App Store, and convince everyone to move their brains into Claude overnight.
