I enjoy social media and have benefitted greatly from it, but if you don't curate your feeds carefully, it will make you lose faith in humanity.

If something works 'on paper' or 'in theory' but it doesn't work in real life, then it doesn't work.

A rare split-second view of the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater banking in flight, revealing its exquisite black and gold plumage. Fewer than 400 remain in the wild.

@DreyfusJames I just know there are going to be a handful of crazy people who have a black lab, have loved a black lab and will dump them (at worse) or surrender them (at best) because of this.

A hill I'll die on
If you declawed your cat, you're not a cat person. You're a furniture person who owns a cat. Cutting off the end of every toe so your couch stays pretty makes you a bad human. I don't care who recommended it.

In light of @ManCity situ, the success of our club @AstonVilla doing things slowly, correctly, honestly &creating a level of success whilst abiding to the rules the best we can al&making tough enforced decisions should be applauded all the more. Us competing is phenomenal! #utv

People complain that scientific advice changes.

Good.

Imagine discovering new evidence and refusing to change anything.

Chinese ATP announcer: “From Serbia, the greatest of all time, Novak Djokovic!” 🇷🇸

The first time in tennis history that an official ATP tournament announces a player as the greatest ever for their introduction. 🐐

I still believe racism is wrong, poverty is ugly and the planet matters.

I stopped believing that those causes require me to clap along with obvious nonsense.

[John Aziz @aziz0nomics]

Wow.

Just seen this video of a parent from Gaza who says he is sending his child to a private tutor instead of public school because he doesn't want his children to be indoctrinated by Hamas to want to "buy a gun and shoot Jews".

Such brainwashing must be ended completely.

Can we honour this hero! He saved hundreds of people. I ask you to join me in wishing him a prompt recovery. Sir we thank you for your bravery and sacrifice to save innocent souls.

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.

“Black kids don’t benefit from the inclusion of white kids.” I completely disagree.

My Black students can learn from white students. My white students can learn from Black students. Neither group is here to “fix” the other.

They’re here to learn, grow, build relationships, and become better young men together.

These boys are going to inherit a world filled with people who don’t look like them. I’d rather teach them how to understand, respect, and work alongside each other now.

I’m not preparing them for a Black world or a white world. I’m preparing them for the world they actually have to live in.

Warning to the West: Ban the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists who act as activists in the West. They are proxies of the Islamic regime in Iran.

Wild dogs are incredibly inquisitive by nature – and with our SWT/KWS Anti-Poaching rangers taking a break on patrol, it’s hard to tell who is watching whom.

Behind this quiet encounter is years of boots-on-the-ground conservation, protecting Tsavo’s wildlife and habitats and helping this endangered species return to an area where they had all but disappeared. Today, multiple large packs can be found in Tsavo – if you know where to look.

Your support makes this possible. https://t.co/NVpsbuFaAn
