The Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, on Wednesday, presented a Toyota Land Cruiser to each of the four First Class Emirs in the state.

The keys to the vehicles were handed over one by one to several dignitaries, including the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar; the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama'ila Muhammadu Mera; the Emir of Yauri, Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu ABDULLAHI; and the representative of the Emir of Zuru, General Muhammad Sani Sami.

He said, "Your Royal Highnesses, my administration recognises the importance of all institutions, the government has given new vehicles to members of the House of Assembly, to Commissioners, to Security Services as well as Chairmen of Boards, Departments and Agencies for optimal operation"
