@CTIDennis@IAmClintMurphy@bennpeifert Well, this fellow has his own personal belief system. I would counter with, does queers for MAGA bother you? we could get to the root of this quickly. However, I am with you on this and the horse is dead.
@tarek_a_ali@mark_slapinski I do not need to tell you your history, but for others seeing this... Turkey was never colonized. After WW1 there was an attempted land grab...westerners were then introduced to Mustafa Kemal.
@PDCanadian@BujokMr Ahahaha. top tier A+. To my Turkish friends that read this please understand this comment was in no way an insult to Turkish and your Ottoman heritage. The Ottoman influence was so great we call some furniture pieces ottomans today in north America.
@GPX_Press@TNT_arabic I would not be surprised if there was more to this interaction than pictured, but we do not know. I love the people of Turkey and have found the hospitality of Istanbul among other regions to be nothing short of amazing. Heading back in April.
@DGretta_Author@EdgeCGroup@Barchart I am a lumber broker. It has been slowing down bigly over the last 9 months or so, 10K+ jobs lost from my customer base alone. 3 shift manufacturing lines are now 1 shift Mon-Wed. OF course, small companies producing custom and high end are still busy.
@data168@craigzjohnson I dont know if i really explained it well, but north America has a monopoly on the natural resources (hardwoods) outside of very slow growing tropical hardwoods like mahogany. Domestically, we have turned into suppliers and grown large industries in China, Vietnam, and mexico.
@data168@craigzjohnson Fun fact, There is nowhere else in the world that has fast growing hardwoods like the US and Canada. over 50% of domestic hardwoods produced are exported.
@data168@craigzjohnson 10s of thousands of jobs are gone, from my customer base alone.
The tariffs are an attempt to bring back jobs.
The hardware aspect of cabinets is owned by China. 100% tariffs will do nothing to bring the hardware manufacturing home.
@Tim_Walz Leadership in this country is an expanding point of embarrassment for all Americans. Statements like this are malignant... which begs to question, why make it?
@TW18221736@MrNotAdvice ...by repaying the YBS financed amount set out in the Agreement net of depreciation and Enovix shall also bear the early repayment penalty fee imposed by the financier (if any).
