I really think this GO should make those who *truly* stand by Ambedkarite - Left politics to reconsider TVK for alliance. For any leader who has worked for human rights, this GO should trigger their very political conscience.

Otherwise five decades of collective work done against police custodial violence, caste crimes, crime against women and marginalised people by social work organisations, human rights organisations, a generation of journalists and a few political parties will go to absolute vain.

It is shocking that the Tamil Nadu government has exempted the Law and Order section under the Public Department from the purview of the Right to Information Act. It is absurd to classify all information pertaining to the Law and Order section of the Public Department as being related to intelligence.

The Tamil Nadu government must immediately withdraw this order. It is condemnable to claim that transparency is being brought in while acting in exactly the opposite manner, said @Arappor .
