@Sambest0706447@OgbeniDipo I'm in osun since Thursday till this moment all the people I engaged are for Ade Dancer. Both in Osogbo,Inisa, ekosin, ikirun and I was like what will be the outcome of the August election.
Since yesterday, I have posted at least 3 times about an interior decor company that got an Airport contract worth N99,561,470,046.55 in Osun State.
Supporters of Governor Ademola Adeleke who jump on almost every tweet have ignored those posts.
Tonight, Engr Oluremi Omowaiye (@remiteo), Head, Media and Publicity Committee, Osun APC Governorship Campaign Council was on Arise TV to shed more light on the issue. Watch.
But wait oo! Why are they running mad about @boytv_cartoon boy's counter-protest?
So you are right to collect money to lead protests against Tinubu but another person doesn't have the right to protest in his support? Absolute mental illness 🤒
Anyways, like Cartoon Boy have told you all;
Enough is Enough! Leave the President to Focus on his assignment!!
8 years must complete, Inshaallah!!
MKO ABIOLA- SYMBOL OF DEMOCRACY
Today, the pendulum of memory swings back to you, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola. We exhume the memories of your sacrifice, your vision, your pain, and your ultimate loss. The sun may set, but the shadow of a giant remains long after he is gone.
The mandate freely given to you by the good people of Nigeria on this day in 1993 - that luminous democratic verdict - was seized and strangled by traitorous and treacherous hands, civilians and soldiers alike: IBB, David Mark, Arthur Eze, Sani Abacha - Peter Obi's political godfather and eternal mentor - and their confederates in betrayal.
Yet, what they buried as a corpse has germinated as a monument. And today, we honour it.
For we, conscious and conscientious Nigerians, understand that the democratic mansion we inhabit today was not built by accident. It was erected upon the pillars of your sacrifice, cemented by your suffering, and roofed by your blood. And today again, we chant your name - M.K.O.
Time has once again proven to be the patient rewarder of unyielding effort. In a poetic twist of destiny, your trusted mentee, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, now sits at the helm of that very mantle. He is here to fulfill your aborted desires and activate your deferred vision through his Renewed Hope Mandate.
You never promised Nigerians in 1993 that the journey would be easy. And after decades of decay, institutional sabotage, and accumulated neglect, Asiwaju is building again - from the rubble, from the ruins, from scratch. Tackling our structural challenges one stubborn pillar at a time:
- LG Autonomy: Ensuring that the tier of government closest to the people is adequately empowered and funded.
- Tax Reforms: Rewriting the fiscal script so that sub-nationals retain more from VAT collections to prosecute the development their people deserve.
- State Police: A fire in the backyard cannot be put out by a fire brigade stationed in the capital. Because insecurity is local in its roots, local in its ravages, and only a local security framework can bring a swift and decisive end to this violent era of crime and mayhem.
- Fuel Subsidy Removal: The proceeds from which governors now swim in allocation abundance, no longer queue cap-in-hand in Abuja begging for bailouts just to pay civil servants their earned wages.
- FX Harmonization: Eradicating the unhealthy arbitrage that bled our economy for years, so that companies can conveniently repatriate their funds, and the era of crippling foreign exchange scarcity was permanently consigned to history.
- Electricity Decentralization: States now possess the full legal backing to independently generate, transmit, and distribute power within their boundaries. The monopoly of darkness has been broken.
Asiwaju is restructuring this complex nation exactly as you would have done, MKO - without empty noise, absent cheap fanfare, and devoid of arrogant political boasts. The lion does not roar to hunt; it moves in calculated silence.
Has the road been all rosy and pleasant? Certainly not.
The thorns of reform pierce deeply. But we anchor our faith on a leader who possesses the rare spinal cord to risk temporary popularity and damn the applause of the mob. He chooses instead the long-term gains and enduring rewards for all Nigerians.
The crowd often rewards the politician; history rewards the statesman.
It has been 33 years since that infamous annulment. We are definitely not where we should be, but by the strength of our resilience, we are certainly not where we used to be.
Rest Well Kashi - Asiwaju is at the wheels.
A man who builds his monument in the hearts of his people cannot truly die - he only waits for history to call his name again.
Good Morning Severally...
@PeterObi While people like Asiwaju and the NADECO were actually fighting a go against the Abacha's government, you were in bird with Abacha collecting contracts and appointments from him.
You have no right to speak about Democracy because you stood with the oppressors.
Nigeria Exceeds OPEC Production Quota, Records Highest Oil Output in 11 Months
Nigeria’s crude oil production rose to 1.53 million barrels per day (bpd) in May 2026, representing 102% of its OPEC production quota of 1.5 million bpd. Combined with condensate production of 170,446 bpd, total hydrocarbon output reached 1.7 million bpd, reinforcing Nigeria’s position as Africa’s leading oil producer.
The May figures represent the highest overall production level since July 2025 and the highest crude oil production since January 2025, marking a 15-month high. Production also increased by 2.77% month-on-month, continuing a positive growth trend recorded over the past five months.
Key production hubs included Bonny Terminal (293,870 bpd), Forcados Terminal (289,900 bpd), Qua Iboe (173,360 bpd), and Escravos Terminal (135,470 bpd).
According to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (@NUPRCofficial), the improved performance was driven by stable operations, the successful completion of maintenance activities, and the absence of major pipeline or facility disruptions.

I am delighted to announce that the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources has taken delivery of 10 brand new waste compactor trucks generously donated by the Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority in a ceremony that demonstrates the power of inter-ministerial collaboration and corporate social responsibility. This donation comes at a crucial time when we are scaling up our waste management operations to match the reality of a megacity that generates over 13,000 tonnes of waste daily. Let me be clear: we have moved decisively beyond the outdated collect-and-dump model into a sustainable zero-waste economy where waste is viewed as a valuable resource.
We have signed multiple Memoranda of Understanding with local and international partners that will divert close to 5,000 metric tonnes from the daily waste stream through recycling, reuse, and resource recovery. These 10 new compactors will be strategically deployed to critical locations experiencing high waste generation and to communities that need enhanced evacuation services. They will improve our turnaround time, support the monthly environmental sanitation exercise, and help us sustain the cleaner Lagos we are building.
I commend the Chief Executive Officer of the Lottery and Gaming Authority, Mr Bashir Abiola Are, for this commendable gesture that aligns perfectly with the vision of Governor @jidesanwoolu and Deputy Governor @drobafemihamzat for a cleaner and more sustainable Lagos.
I use this opportunity to call on other public institutions, private sector organizations, and corporate stakeholders to emulate this example because the task of keeping Lagos clean requires all hands on deck. Together, we will deliver a #CleanerLagos and a #GreaterLagos.

In 2021, I secured 100 fully funded scholarships worth more than $400,000 for members of my community at the University of the People through a partnership . Today, many of these beneficiaries are thriving academically and professionally.
One inspiring example is a scholar who, after completing a bachelor’s degree at the University of the People, went on to win the Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship for a master’s degree in the UK.
I currently serve as an instructor at the University of the People, where I continue to support and mentor students on their academic and scholarship journeys.
