In just over twenty years, Dubai has moved from virtually no diamond trade to the world’s largest hub for rough and polished diamonds. That transformation was built on trust and standards, with @GIAnews a vital partner in the journey.

GIA has now expanded its Dubai drop off and pick up services to VAT registered mainland UAE clients, opening access that was previously limited to international and UAE Free Zone entities and bringing more of the domestic market into the same globally recognised grading ecosystem.

To support this expansion with maximum security and efficiency, GIA is partnering with Transguard to provide secure logistics for stone submissions and deliveries.

Submissions are accepted daily at Level 2, @AlmasTowerDMCC , Jumeirah Lakes Towers from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and on Mon and Wed at Gold Land Building, Gold Souq Deira, Office G 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Submissions are then securely transported to the GIA Dubai Laboratory, and clients may also submit stones directly through walk in appointments at the Uptown Dubai Tower laboratory, with appointments booked via the GIA website https://t.co/WFWyphhgNL .

In my discussion with Rajesh Kothari, GIA Vice President of Lab Operations for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, we focused on what this unlocks: a tighter bridge between mainland commerce and @DMCCAuthority’s specialised infrastructure, improving liquidity and transparency across the Dubai market.

The outcome is simple and important, whether a diamond is traded in the historic Gold Souq or in @JLTbyDMCC , it can be backed by the scientific rigour and global trust that GIA and Dubai represent.

President Donald J. Trump’s @realDonaldTrump decision on October 23, 2025, restores justice and recognizes the value CZ brings as a builder who scales innovation with integrity.

Our door at @dmcccrypto & @DMCCAuthority has always been open to visionaries like CZ.

We welcomed @binance Technologies MENA DMCC to Dubai early in 2022, a milestone I shared publicly on August 15, 2022, as we believed Dubai should lead as a home for entrepreneurs who raise standards and drive fintech forward.

The crypto community needs leaders who take responsibility, refine their craft, and keep building, and @binance remains a benchmark for operational excellence and market reach.

CZ accepted due process and accountability, yet Dr. Anthony Fauci received a preemptive pardon on January 20, 2025, avoiding any courtroom test.

Prominent critics Senator @RandPaul , MD, and science author @mattwridley have argued that this undermines the scrutiny essential to scientific credibility.

Nothing says trust the science more than a preemptive pardon, suggesting Fauci’s guilt on controversial offenses, a concern that looms larger than any trial could reveal.

In my open letter to Chris Williamson @ChrisWillx I respond to his smear against Dubai, portraying it as one of the most awful places on the planet, and the lie that the city was built on slave labour.

He also described Dubai as a place of shallowness, with very little soul, and claimed his guest Dr. @misraetel declined to engage on air.

Those barbs travelled far, contradicting what millions experience here, but came from someone promoting his own Self Discovery Dubai Live 2026 with a sign up now call to action at https://t.co/UHS8I9t0Y4

You can say a venue felt contrived or that a night out missed the mark. But branding an entire city as the most awful on the planet and alleging slave labour is performative theatre that completely misrepresents one of the world’s most successful multicultural hubs and the people who power it.

At its core, Dubai is a trading city with a social contract that pairs opportunity with responsibility.

More than two hundred nationalities live, work, worship, and create here.

You will find churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques alongside a vibrant arts scene and global cuisine.

Strong public safety is a hallmark of Dubai today, while modern labour protections continue to improve outcomes for workers who choose to build their futures here.

Chris's rhetoric reads like a mix of limited exposure, cheap outdated clichés that perform online, and engagement bait.

If you call a city awful while selling tickets to a show in that same city, you at least owe your audience consistency and evidence. Disclose your influences, engage with facts, and test narratives against reality.

To that end, I ask Chris to come early or stay after his 2026 live event and tour the Dubai we know and engage with daily.

If after that he still disagrees we can agree to disagree, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I have been living in Dubai for a year and a half and it truly feels like home. I came here for work and when that chapter ended I decided to stay to build my future here. It is the best decision I have made in my life so far.

Dubai is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I say this coming from Barcelona, which is also a very beautiful city.

What has impressed me the most is how locals and the culture here show genuine respect for others. Dubai brings together people from all over the world and makes it work.
