For #Farmers, #SoilHealth is a matter of survival!
They own the most significant share & burden in managing soil health.
Still, a systemic approach is needed where all #FoodSystems actors work together for healthier soils, healthier🍲healthier🌍healthier👥!

@tijh@RealBrainTC The effect was consistent just for the offer of 3€. In the other offer we didn't find any differences considering the levels of NCC. Now we're going to analyze reaction times to see if there are differences in the time for taking decisions
@RealBrainTC@Adriano_Neuro (2) The aim of this study was to look for neural differences in bargaining behaviour at the Ultimatum Game (UG, Güth et al., 1982), with Ingroup vs Outgroup proposers, for responders with different levels of NCC. #brainTC
@tijh@RealBrainTC Thanks! We did a minimal group manipulation:they weared purple/beige t-shirts, and the proposers(pics from Karolinksa) could have purple/baige frames. If colour were matched they were similar for psychological features, if not vice versa
@RealBrainTC (6) The activation of limbic areas could be explained as an involvement of negative emotions for High NCC vs Low NCC individuals at the UG. We didn’t found neural differences for the 3€ offer, behaviourally different between groups. #brainTC
@RealBrainTC (5) fMRI: For every offer from both Ingroup/Outgroup proposers, activation for High NCC of cortical (occipital, premotor) & subcortical (limbic) areas, middle frontal cortex for Outgroup receivers, Insula & Cerebellum and for 4€ by Outgroup (Fig). #brainTC
@RealBrainTC@RealBrainTC (1) Need for Cognitive Closure (NCC), a motivational construct postulated by Kruglanski in 1990, is the need of an answer, any answer, on a given topic, instead of confusion and ambiguity. #brainTC
