Dear residents of Kurla,
I have received countless calls and messages from many of you, expressing your anger and frustration towards me. I understand the pain and sorrow that you feel, and I want to address your concerns.
Yesterday, I made a difficult decision in an attempt to save the life of a bus driver, and I did so with the belief that violence would only bring more harm and no real resolution. As much as I understand the raw emotions in this situation, I truly believe that an eye for an eye only leaves the world in darkness.
I have no regrets about my actions, but my heart aches for the families who have lost their loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with them during this unimaginably painful time.
With deepest sympathy,
Ashif

“तक्रार करा, आम्हाला काही फरक पडत नाही” — ही भाषा कायद्याच्या रक्षकांची नसून, कायद्यापेक्षा स्वतःला वर समजणाऱ्या व्यवस्थेची आहे.
Came across a video where a police officer attached to Kurla Police Station is seen speaking to an Advocate and repeatedly saying, “If you are not satisfied with the enquiry, file a complaint against me.”
This casual attitude itself raises a serious question: are such officers no longer bothered about complaints being filed against them, or are they so confident that their superior officers will protect them and close such complaints without any real action?
Today, many police officers have lost the fear of law because they know very well that internal complaints rarely result in accountability. When an officer casually says “file a complaint against me,” it reflects not courage, but confidence in a system where consequences are often missing.
This is not merely about one officer or one incident. It is about the growing arrogance within the system and the urgent need for real accountability.

Recently came across a video where DCP Mahendra Pandit can be seen speaking to an Advocate in an undignified and unnecessarily rude manner.
Dear DCP Saheb, Advocates are officers of the Court. We spend years studying, clearing examinations, building practice and surviving in this profession with dignity. Mutual respect is not a favour; it is a minimum expectation in a constitutional system.
The uniform deserves respect, but so does the robe. Any authority that forgets this basic balance must be reminded that arrogance is not administration.
Perhaps such conduct also reflects the lack of unity within our own Bar. When the Bar stands divided or silent, others gather the courage to treat Advocates with disrespect.
This is not about one Advocate. This is about the dignity of the legal profession.

"All citizens are being made slaves of Indian Government. They cannot stage protests, they cannot agitate-What is all this? Now so many papers have been leaked. If people protest, you will slap cases... What is this? It is the right of the citizens to protest.
The petitioner has just raised slogans like 'BJP Government Murdabad', 'Amit Shah Murdabad'... Why citizens can't raise such slogans? Why externment orders for such slogans?" - Bombay High Court Judge Justice Madhav Jamdar asks.
Navi Mumbai Police !
Don't hit me - Biker requests to Police
This is the kind of Daylight hooliganism happening in MMR.
Slapped, choked, grabbed with collar and thrashed, dragged to another spot and beaten up again, the only thing left was that he takes out his guns, points it towards him and shoots
That will also happen if we don't resist and speak out against such Police Excesses
Talegaon Dabhade, Pune Police !
A college-aged man was stopped by a policeman on a three-seater bike in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, as he was riding a triple-seater bike.
Stopped and asked him to pay a fine for driving a triple seater. "However, the law student told the police that he would pay the fine only if they gave him a receipt.
After the student gave such a reply, the police got angry and the police literally beat the student inhumanly.
When the young man went to file a complaint at the police station, the police there also threatened to file a case against him. This information has been given by the student's family. It will be important to see what action the police administration will take on this.
While crime is rampant in the state as a whole, the inaction of the police is clearly visible, while on the other hand, it is evident how the police are harassing ordinary people for trivial reasons
Watched this woman destroy an innocent girls life while reading her WhatsApp Messages on the news. For ratings. Had her call me anti-national on the news for speaking about women’s safety. For ratings. Now she’s ‘concerned’ about women. For ratings. Give me a break. That’s my take.
🛠️Kurla South Water Main Repair Update
🔧Repair work on the damaged 1200 mm diameter water main in the Kurla South area has been underway continuously on a war footing since Saturday night.
🚰The pipeline is located at a depth of approximately 5 metres.
⚒️Excavation teams are facing intense technical challenges. They are navigating a tight space bordered by a 300 mm diameter Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) gas pipeline on one side and a bridge pile foundation on the other.
🔨Despite these critical constraints, engineers and field staff are carrying out the work with utmost care and systematic planning.
🔧The water main has now been fully exposed and work to replace the damaged section (measuring approximately 1.5 metres in length) has actively been taken up.
⚙️Repair work is expected to be completed by this evening. Following completion, the water supply to the affected areas will be restored in a phased manner.
💧The BMC is closely monitoring the situation on the ground. All necessary measures are being undertaken to ensure the earliest possible completion of the repair work.
🙏🏼Thank you for your patience.

आप कितनी भी बड़ी तोप क्यों न हों, लोग सवाल तो पूछेंगे!
Chief justice of India Suryakant was in London.
This is what happened yesterday at Birkbeck University of London.
What kind of policing is this?
A woman has suffered a serious head injury after being assaulted with a stone. FIR No. 0169 of 2026 has been registered at Bhoiwada Police Station only under Sections 118(1) and 352 of the BNS, 2023, though the victim repeatedly stated that the accused hit her on the head with clear intention to kill.
Today, when she approached DCP Zone 4, Mr. Anurag Jain @Anurag_Jain_IPS , she was allegedly told, “Nahi, uska intention marne ka nahi tha.”
Arey bhai, if police officers sitting in their air conditioned offices have already decided the intention of the accused and want to give a clean chit at this stage itself, then why do we need courts at all?
Aap hi police ban jao, aap hi judge ban jao, aur courts ko bandh kar dete hain.
A stone blow on the head is not a small incident. The victim deserves fair investigation, not casual opinions. @MumbaiPolice@CPMumbaiPolice must look into this immediately.
