Insurers aren't in the health care industry, they're financial institutions, investing premiums in the market for profit, & have every incentive to pay out as little as possible in order to be as profitable as possible. It's a bad system.

@caroljsroth Health "insurance" is a bad system to start with. Insurance is a financial industry, the idea is gather premiums and invest them for profit, and they have a fiduciary duty to be as profitable as possible, and thus incentive to deny claims as much as possible. The system sucks.

@AdamSinger I don't see enough people saying this: Health Insurers are *not* part of the Healthcare Industry. They're Financial Institutions. They're more akin to investment banks. Their business is to invest your premiums for profit and pay as little as possible in claims. Burn it down.

@ThisIsKyleR A lot of the people we now revere as Founding Fathers resorted to violence against an outrageous system that put financial burden on them with no regard for their life or livelihood, in order to enrich the ruling class. Sometimes extreme circumstances force extreme action.

@JennaFryer I don't understand why people like this user are confused by this. Cadillac F1 *is* Andretti. It's the same organization that's been pushing for entry for 2 years. The name has changed and there's some shuffling at the executive level, but the organization is largely the same.

@LawVSX Yeah... been thinking this for a while myself. Checo just makes a ton of sense. Is he on a poor run of form? Yes. But he's super recognizable, popular in the Americas, brings loads of sponsors, and loads of F1 experience in a championship team. Great mentor for Herta.
