The whole thing is costing around £5k.
The renters rights are not clear that it’s a minimum of 8 weeks notice depending on your rent cycle but says you can’t be asked to give/stay longer.
I thought these new rights were to make renting better for renters?
The new renters rights act has made moving house more expensive and doesn’t help renters in the long run and needs better clarity on notice periods for notice to quit.

New landlord wouldn’t wait 8-12 weeks and said they would move to another candidate so hastily agreed.
So not only have I had to pay moving expenses, Deposits and the rest but I’m now liable for rent and utilities for 2 properties for the 6 week overlap.
My local @Tesco Express has been the only store in my area for years and has been getting increasingly more expensive but locals have had no other option.
Anyway, now Aldi is opening 200yrds away suddenly they are Aldi price matching.
@BeeNetwork at Deansgate, not seen an Eccles tram in the last 15 mins and not one on the board for at least 7 mins. Is there a delay on the Eccles line?
