In 2019 we had the incredible opportunity to census the global breeding population of West African crested terns across five countries. We aim to repeat this in 2022 after a two-year Covid hiatus.
Last year we started collaborating with @FieldCoast Station to investigate the use of RPAS to detect salmon and automate the counting process. After a successfully first season, we are excited that the Pacific Salmon Commision granted us funding for a second year.
