Applicants should have a recent PhD completion (<6 months before recruitment) and proven skills in protein production and purification.
📍 Start: January | ⏳ 6-month contract (extendable)
The Quantitative Interactomics and Disease-Related Networks team at iBV (Nice, France) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher with expertise in recombinant protein technologies and biochemistry.
The project focuses on mapping motif-mediated protein–protein interactions involved in key cellular processes like signaling and cancer, using cutting-edge biophysical interactomics approaches such as the native holdup assay.
I am incredibly grateful to the ERC reviewers for their time and support. This recognition is a true honor and means a great deal to me. Excited to keep pushing forward the characterization of so-far unexplored motif-mediated protein–protein interactions!
HUGE NEWS FOR THE TEAM - The most amazing Boglarka Zambo just got ranked at #6 in the CNRS N°20 concours. Seems like nothing is stopping her from getting a permanent position this year!

This work was made possible by a fantastic collaboration between the Varjosalo, Dosztányi, Davey, and Gogl teams! Huge thanks to everyone who contributed! This is also a special milestone for my team: the first work since launching last year. 6/6
Excited to share our latest preprint! We show how the non-catalytic epsilon DNA polymerase subunit, POLE2, binds to NPF motifs proteome-wide! 1/6

NPF motifs are known binding targets of a series of proteins, like EH domains, Aurora kinase, or the WNT enhanceosome. Our study reveals an interconnected network between these evolutionarily unrelated proteins and we also investigate key determinants of specificity. 5/6
