Huda Khomosh, founder of a women’s rights movement, confirmed Sunday that #ManizhaSiddiqi, a women’s rights activist, has been released from #Taliban prison after nearly seven months.

A 55-year-old man buys a girl named Parwana from her family for $2,000.

Another story is about 9-year-old Layton and 4-year-old Zaytoon, who were sold by their family for $1,000 each.

The Taliban did something to us – we can’t go back even if they reopen the universities. We are trapped from all sides. If the Taliban allow girls to go to university, my husband won’t allow it.
