I think we just watched the next Spinaway winner in race 5 today @Saratoga1863 , Life Changing. Super good looking @RepoleStable filly. Love her pedigree too , a lot of class in that female family line, 3rd dam the mother of one of my all time favorite horses Miss Shop.

@barshoelife Problem is 10 F at Saratoga historically does not favor his running style. Pair that with a race that seemingly has 0 speed on paper I think he’s up against it. He may be the best horse in the division but I don’t except him to win the Belmont.

@DRFHersh I told a friend to go back and watch her debut race from Tampa. I just happened to stumble across it and was SO IMPRESSED , put her on my watch list for the summer races. The stars have aligned for her to make the oaks , her and shred the gnar racing on the same day ?! All IN !.

@GhostofSwiftH But I think the derby winner this year is a front runner /stalker horse. We’ve had what 5-7 years of deep closers. That trend always reverts to the mean. Before that (starting from after points system implemented ) we had 5+ years of speed horses win derby in a row.

@GhostofSwiftH Regan’s Honor has 0 points. Will need a top finish in the Bluegrass to even make the derby . I think he has a big shot to win at keeneland. But I wouldn’t be counting him as a pace player in the Derby with 0 points.

@EJXD2 @BelmontStakes He 100% should have won the derby and the triple crown that year.. I’ve never in my life been more confident of a horse winning a race than I was of him in the Belmont and man did he deliver. RIP

@EJXD2 @BelmontStakes Heart broken I never made it to visit him in Kentucky. He was my favorite horse of all time. I remember watching him as a 2 year old at my home track Saratoga. Fell in love with him and horse racing that day.. I’ve watched the replay of his Belmont 100 times at least.
