Not too bad for a free VR game, with no marketing / promotion, that is 5+ years old, that hasn’t had any updates in ~2 years, and was meant to be a simple demo to showcase WebXR.
Imagine if we meant it.
@aframevr
We still miss @glitch. The @aframevr community has come out with a future-proof solution. Thanks to @noerihuisman and @vincentfretin each A-Frame example has a remix button that fetches code from @github into a sandbox. Code is always hosted in a repo instead of a 3rd party. Enjoy!
A-Frame is the only major 3D framework that is truly independent.
Consider sponsoring folks like Noeri and Vincent on Github so they can continue doing amazing work:

A-Frame 1.8.0 is out! 🚀
Tons of delightful bug fixes and improvements.
14 people helped make this happen. Special Thanks to @noerihuisman and @vincentfretin for carrying the heavy load on this one. The code base is the prettiest and cleanest one I’ve ever seen.
Enjoy! 🫶 @aframevr
Just updated my small @aframevr game from 2018 to a fresh state in 2026. It now works in AR, desktop and mobile in addition to VR.
How fast can you beat the maze?
Play it on @dmnshdgg, link below 👇
anyone saying VR fell off has no idea what's happening in the @threejs@aframevr space
the future of virtual reality is being vibe coded into existence as we speak
Experimenting with different types of locomotion in WebXR using our smart insoles, from hoverboard-like controls to a “stepping in place” mechanic @aframevr@sparkjsdev
Draw a floor plan in 2D, then instantly view it in immersive VR in your Meta Quest Headset.
2D edits appear in VR in real time.
Built with @aframevr@threejs. Everything running in the browser.

I’ll be around at GDC to talk Web, games, 3D, gaussian splats, @sparkjsdev and @aframevr
Come say hello and grab delicious stickers! Everyone welcome, event doesn’t require a GDC pass.
Our team at @realityhackmit made an animatronic head, using @aframevr to overlay a 3D model, allowing us to not only control articulation in the browser but to also respond to hand interactions in WebXR (while providing tactile feedback)
Streaming Smart Glasses Camera to a Quest 3 in WebXR @aframevr
Using our Wearables SDK, we’re able to stream camera data from the @omidotme Omi Glass (based on the @seeedstudio XIAO ESP32-S3 Sense running custom firmware) to the Quest 3 over WebSockets in the Oculus Browser
3D hand tracking on smart glasses
Not only can we stream camera data with our Wearables SDK, but we can run MediaPipe for hand tracking, applying it in WebXR environments like @threejs and @aframevr
Works with compatible smart glasses, in this case the @omidotme Omi Glass, based on the @seeedstudio XIAO ESP32-S3 Sense (running our custom
Firmware)
With the help @aframevr I dusted off my old daylight system component and turned it into a nice 360 32-bit panorama exporter. Sun size, 8k, artificial lights, night sky and other cool updates are on the way! Start making you own hdri panos here! https://t.co/9IIs83wQJH @kfarr
Day 8/31: Video of bollards that don't exist created with Bollard Buddy (v2 preview)
Using @aframevr with @the8thwall sdk, users can tap to place bollards, create snapshots saved in @3dstreetapp cloud gallery and then piped to @NanoBanana for imagen and @Kling_ai turbo for video
