Reproductive Health care is integral to the life of intersex persons. IPSK ED @JameZkaranja with other CSO member organisation submitted a memorandum on Reproductive Health Bill 2014 to include intersex persons and other more insights on the wellbeing of women and girls.

We demand for more evidence on the long- term outcome with regard not just to appearance of our genitals but also to sexual satisfaction, reproductive functions, gender identity, and quality of life when we the #Intersex are subjected to the cosmetic surgeries

Women continue to be stigmatised due to menstruation; this is even worse to the intersex persons who experience it! We need to address such challenges experienced by women and intersex persons

One of the reforms that was recommended by @HakiKNCHR was to have facilities that have provisions for intersex persons. So far no case has been presented to @IPOA_KE concerning intersex persons, therefore, being a challenge to follow up on these cases.
