The Norwegian aid agency, NRC, says 725,000 people in Somaliland face hunger due to drought from severe lack of rain. 2018 rainy season was worse than normal with parts of Somaliland receiving 25-50%; current dry season, from Jan to March expected to be longer and harsher - NRC.
