Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is prepared to confront threats across the country on land, at sea and in the air, deputy commander-in-chief Mostafa Izadi said Thursday, according to the IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency.

“We are ready in all areas, including ground, naval, air, air defense and security, throughout the country, and have established a strong defensive front,” Izadi said.

“The enemy is in a shaky position and makes new claims each time to cover up this situation,” he added.

Izadi also referred to the US military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan, saying American forces had “fled in haste” from Afghanistan and faced a similar situation in Iraq, according to the report.

🇺🇸 🚨BREAKING: The gunman who opened fire on children at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon, has allegedly been identified as a 16-year-old.

No further information on the shooter has been released.

So far, at least four people are confirmed dead, including three children.

Things Just Got Worse in Yemen

The Houthis reportedly hit Yemen's presidential palace in Aden with missiles and drones. Five people dead and 16 wounded.

They're claiming they were targeting a Saudi military operations center.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is already dealing with attacks on its airports and oil facilities.

This whole war is getting further out of hand. Iran, Israel, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S. are all caught up in it.

My biggest concern is what happens when Saudi Arabia decides it's had enough and hits back even harder. Then Iran gets more involved, and we're looking at a much bigger war.

And you can bet American troops will be right in the middle of it.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has been preparing options for another major strike, with Trump's own midterm elections part of the discussion.

So apparently, whether Iran needs to be bombed depends partly on when Americans and Israelis go to the polls.

I've got a feeling Marco Rubio is going to be the loudest voice pushing for military action against Cuba.

Rubio has been a hardliner on Cuba for years, and now he's Secretary of State. He's already tying Cuba to Iran and terrorism.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's leading the charge for another military operation.

And I'm sure he'll be right there on the front lines when the shooting starts. Right?
