@SuellaBraverman@reformparty_uk Why does everything have to point towards immigrants? I mean it’s okay for politicians to campaign, what is not okay is giving false narratives because it is a common knowledge that International students do not have recourse to public funds, talk more of accessing student loans.
A lot of the time, I remind people that just because we grew up doing something or met a certain way of life being practiced doesn’t mean it’s the right way. It doesn’t mean those things are right for us.
I’m learning to let go of that overthinking, to stop hiding in the background, and to let my voice be as loud as it needs to be. I’m learning that my next level—your next level—might just be one conversation, one suggestion, or one bold statement away.
We really don’t know how much impact we give with our ‘little thing’.
I just got a reaffirmation that my small talks are really that impactful, something I didn’t think I needed until I got the message.
So my message to you is to continue on that path, the right people see it.
@ehienabs@TheObiLeonard I doubt if this is entirely true though. ChatGPT remembers quite a lot about some of the things about me that I have fed it with. Sometimes I could just give prompts like ‘from the things you remember about me, I need this and this’ and I get just what I am looking for.
You don’t have to do it all. You just have to do what matters most.
When your energy is aligned with your purpose, every step forward feels meaningful, and that’s when real progress happens.
There’s a difference between being busy and being productive, but many of us don’t realize it until we’re burned out.
We pack our days with tasks, meetings, and errands, thinking that the more we do, the closer we’ll get to our goals.
Each day, commit to one action that directly moves you closer to those priorities. It could be learning a skill, reaching out to someone for help, or even saying no to something that doesn’t serve you.
