Not that I’ve been good about following professional sports in the last five years.. but, I grew up in the Dallas metro area. I have fond memories of the entire metroplex.

But it doesn’t surprise me one bit that the Stars, Mavericks and Neiman Marcus are moving away from downtown. The cowboys left years before. The Dallas Renegades don’t even play in Dallas.

The city is run by corrupt politicians, the area is a cesspool of tweakers and vagrants.

I’ve had both good and bad incidents over the decades but it’s gone downhill like everything else in large cities.
