It’s live! Here, we look at how the ETL affects the growth and performance of perovskite solar cells deposited by two step close space vapor transport. We find the ETL changes the growth of the perovskite in a few ways (1/3) https://t.co/gs6ue8erM7
Thousands of pagers and other electronic devices have exploded across Lebanon, killing at least 21 people, including two children, and injuring thousands.
Using everyday civilian objects as explosive devices puts civilians at grave risk and violates the laws of war.
Perovskite solar cells. By measuring the conductivity of films and performing drift diffusion simulations, the results fit equations developed by @VMLC_PV quite well. By the same calculations it also looks like more efficient doping strategies should unlock more performance.
More interestingly to me, the initial JV curves without oxygen were s-shaped. It appears that this is likely a case of low mobility/ conductivity layers causing s-shapes even when band alignment should be nominally ok, as reported by Tress in organic solar cells and Le Corre in
▪️ Our record-breaking efficiency of 33.7% in perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells is now published in @ScienceMagazine!
▪️ We concentrated on enhancing perovskite's bulk properties to improve efficiency and phase stability.

BREAKING: A UN human rights office report says Palestinian detainees taken by Israeli authorities since the Oct. 7 attacks have faced waterboarding, electric shocks and other torture and mistreatment. https://t.co/UfTP7FikW2
Yesterday, Mr. Netanyahu lied.
Israel continues to block food, water, and medical supplies from reaching desperate people.
Today, some 495,000 Palestinians face starvation.
We will not be distracted from the illegal and immoral policies of his government.
There is a lot happening in the news these days, but it seems like we should be paying a bit more attention to the fact that the world just saw its hottest day on record (in absolute terms), coming on the back of 13 straight record setting months:
📣👩🔬 New paper from our @BaenaLab team and my first foray into evaporated perovskites! We develop co-evaporation routes for Ruddlesden-Popper layers and study how phase transformations at the interface impact perovskite solar cells. @GTMSE5 @AdvSciNews https://t.co/n58MSwjboR
📢📢 new paper alert
We developed a recipe to make 2D n=1 perovskites with high purity by thermal evaporation, which then transforms into an n=2 when deposited on a 3D perovskite.
Congrats to @kunaldatta for his first first author in our group!
