@Dylanszn01 It absolutely was! Except it was a cassette player for me. Here lately I've been finding myself longing for the simpler times. Esp growing up in the 80s/90s..I really miss it.
Currently doing that now. I will probably stay up til 3am, then sleep thru my hubs 6am alarm til about 8am/9am
Pretty much all the time lately. I used to
get up with him in mornings, but it's been awhile. What sucks is when I start struggling to stay awake by 6pm & have to fight it. My sleep schedule is all screwed up! 🤣
Give Like Dolly Day is coming September 25!
Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger—and this year, we’re celebrating that spirit through Give Like Dolly Day.
On September 25, we’re inviting communities all over the world to join us in giving back to children by supporting your local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program. Your support helps make it possible for the children in your community to receive a free, high-quality book every month from birth to age 5.

The moon sets over the Duquesne Incline last night in Pittsburgh. I love that you can also see just a hint of the other side of the moon that is slightly illuminated by the light reflecting off of the Earth.

I'm a very private person - and this is not the way that I wanted this to come out - but I have been dealing with a rare, progressive genetic disease the last couple of years since graduating from UT.
The disease progressed to the point where I can no longer walk. For the better part of the last year, I have been bed-ridden and have relied on polio sticks to get around.
My doctors have finally found a combination of medications that has stopped the progression and I have just recently started physical therapy, relearning how to walk and stuff, so things are trending upwards - however, I still have to heavily rely on a cane.
I say all of this for context:
These two men assaulted my best friend and I at the end of the Ohio State-Texas game, the one in the black shirt shoved me down two rows onto the floor from behind, and when my friend (also a UT alum) confronted him about abusing a handicapped person, the guy in the gray shirt gave him a right hook and busted his eardrum. He had blood running from his ear for two days.
We had never had contact with these dudes before or during the game, complete strangers. We still don’t know their names or if they were pissed off OSU fans or what their deal was.
When filling out the police report, the two guys were blowing kisses at us and had smug smiles on their faces as if they didn't just assault a cripple and sent somebody else to the EMS. My sister was sobbing, and they start mocking her, too.
It sucks, since this was my first game that I was able to attend since dealing with this disease, and I couldn’t get to enjoy one of the best comebacks ever.
I've filed a report with @UTAustinPolice since Travis County says it's in their hands, but @_delconte these guys should never be allowed in DKR ever again.
If anyone in Longhorn Nation knows these guys or can identify them, please DM me or send the information directly to @UTAustinPolice so it can be added to the report.
I’m not asking anyone to harass them or take matters into their own hands. I just want them identified, held accountable for what they did and permanently banned from DKR.
I waited a long time to be healthy enough to walk back into that stadium. I refuse to let two strangers take that moment - singing the eyes of Texas and celebrating the win - away from me.
Hook ’em. 🤘
💊💊We looked into Mike Rogers’ role in the opioid epidemic and found he was one of the leading champions of the loosening of rules that led to the explosion of pill mills and a surge in addiction.
Very sordid history here: https://t.co/HkFh40subk
