As Dr. Kizza Besigye lies in an ICU room, fighting for his life, let's not forget that the stated intention of the Museveni regime is to murder him. Museveni’s criminal son, who derives pride in being a face of evil has been clear that "......Besigye will only leave prison in two ways. Either in his coffin after we hang him or shoot him or on his knees apologising to Mzee [Museveni]". That's why they have denied him bail, dismantled his legal team, and hounded him left, right and center.
The world must not standby. What is happening in Uganda is catastrophic. Let's use every avenue to speak out, protest and agitate. One blood-thirsty family must not be allowed to torture, maim, murder and hold a nation at ransom without consequence!
Uganda Railways spent Ugx 25,000,000,000 on a training for 300 staff members.
3 People;
~Morris Tibenda
~Paul Tukasaba
~Kizza Pasikaziya pocketed over Ugx 3,000,000,000 as "foreign Consultants" who flew in and out of Uganda from Spain yet they never left the country at ALL.
They also tortured and humiliated my wife simply because she married me-a Muganda. Today, they’re still trying to divide our nation along tribal lines because they know that the day Ugandans stand united is the day their little game will come to an end.
The bad news for them is that we are a united generation. Their politics of tribal hatred will not divide us, it will only backfire.
I was tortured and interrogated by Gen. Museveni's operatives on why i could represent a "muganda" in Court yet I'm a "munyankole" NUP's lawyer, Kenneth Kakuru.
OH no. 😭
Was moved to see our comrade Machete kneel down to thank his mother for not abandoning him and other political prisoners for the six years they have spent under detention without trial. We're eternally grateful to parents like her who choose not to judge their children for taking part in the struggle for a better country, but instead support them throughout these trials and tribulations.

Since yesterday, many of you have expressed the desire to contribute money to support the livelihoods of the nine political prisoners who were released from detention after close to six years. You may send in your contribution towards this cause to any of these numbers. In addition to the support the Party will extend to them, your contributions will be summed up and distributed to them equally.
During the official launch of the 2026 Imbalu Cultural Festival at the Mutoto Cultural Grounds in Mbale City which marks the beginning of one of the most cherished traditions of the Bamasaba—our biennial rite of passage to manhood i urged the community to unite for development.
Today marks 100 days since artiste and @NUP_Ug supporter, Christopher Gody aka King Zale was abducted by armed security operatives from Kamwokya. To-date, his whereabouts remain unknown. We ask, WHERE IS ZALE?
A short while ago, I was more than delighted to speak with our nine comrades who came out of prison today, after six years of illegal detention without trial - Ssekitoleko Yasin Machete, Patrick Mwase, Sharif Kalanzi, Joseph Muwonge, Abdallah Kintu, Umar Emma Kato, Kavuma Musa, Jimmy Galukande and Gibusiwa Abdallah.
These comrades committed no offence, but the criminal regime refused to try them, release them on bail or simply drop the charges against them. Their only crime was supporting me and the @NUP_Ug in the 2021 election! Instead, the regime gave them only one condition- plead guilty or rot in jail. After six years of waiting, they were released on Amnesty - having appeared yet again before the military court, in complete disregard of the Supreme Court ruling that ordered their files to be transferred to ordinary courts. Either way, we are very glad to have them back. I thank everyone who has consistently demanded for their release, as well as those who have supported them and their families in every way. I thank their families for patiently waiting for this day. Aluta continua.
Here is a leaked video of comrade Sam Mugumya, who remains missing since his abduction in August last year. The video was apparently leaked from an unknown detention facility where he is held incommunicado. He appears crippled; unable to walk without a walking frame -- evidence of effects of the torture he has suffered since abduction. Meanwhile, the regime continues to deny any knowledge of his whereabouts! But one day, those responsible for these crimes will be held accountable! #BringBackOurPeople!
NUP activist Yasin Ssekitoleko, alias Machete has finally been released after prolonged detention without trial. Machete and nine other opposition activists were released on Friday, July 31, 2026 after spending six years on remand. #MonitorUpdates@kakumirizi2002
