In 2009, I attended the Congress in Milan for the first time and reactivated the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation. As a result of these efforts, three years later, in 2012, during the Congress held in Sochi, Russia, I had the honor of being elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS). Later, in 2016 in PyeongChang, South Korea, and subsequently in 2021 in Rome, Italy, I was elected for the third time as a member of the AIPS Executive Committee.
This journey has been remarkable for another important reason as well: since the creation of Pakistan, it was the first time that any Pakistani had reached such a position. Even in the 100-year history of AIPS, there appears to be no similar example.
I have now started writing my book about this journey and about AIPS itself. I do not know how long it will take to complete, but I will present many facts before you. One thing is certain whatever I write, I will write truthfully. I hope this book will also expose the real faces of many countries and reveal several hidden realities. I will also try to uncover many secrets regarding corruption in the world of sports issues that are often discussed, written about, and heard about.
The years from 2009 to 2026 have undoubtedly been fascinating, extraordinary, and full of surprises.
