Not so fast @Funkwrite, I have questions… what policies and procedures were in place to safeguard Felis catus, Lego passengers and responders, and property? Were those procedures followed? Was a safety management system in place and effectively carried out? What training was provided to the feline and their supervisor?
TBD… look forward to reviewing the findings, probable cause, and recommendations.

WASHINGTON, May 6 (Reuters) - Major U.S. airlines spent just over $5 billion on jet fuel in March, up 56% and $1.8 billion over February costs, the U.S. Transportation Department said.
NK1833 from DTW to DFW has landed. The flight is expected to be the final arrival for Spirit Airlines and the end of operations for the 43-year old carrier. https://t.co/ZdIsOmwFc9
The dream was that somewhere in the world you could still buy a ticket on a DC-4 or something but there’s nothing quite that old in commercial passenger service anymore. At least I don’t have to go far out of my way to fly that 1991 United 767!
The other week I found myself onboard a @united jet delivered during the George H. W. Bush administration, but I never would have guessed on sight alone.
Why your next flight may be on a very old plane and you probably won’t know.

For a while I was on a mission to fly the oldest airliners I could find in commercial service. Then Buffalo in Canada retired their DC-3 (had been top of my list). Mahan Air in Iran will have to wait …
When I was at AA we had ex-TWA and of course ex-America West flying around (not even that old, just cool to see bygone airlines represented.) The last Northwest/Delta DC-9 was ex-North Central Airlines.
