Lifelong Socialist.
Is having a Government that actually cares about people too much to expect? Horrified by Government and their latest Eugenics experiment.
Labour wasted masses of resources fighting the greens in Brighton and Bristol when they could have been resisting the rise of fascist Reform.
When people tell you who they are, believe them.
Just heard that Jeremy Corbyn triumphed against a 'Labour' candidate whose claim to fame were his substantial profits from the de facto privatisation of the NHS - a clear signal by Starmer of his vile intentions. Hope lives on, at least in Islington North https://t.co/0X8b4K1oTz
Labour didn’t win on merit, that’s abundantly clear. They won because the Tories collapsed and someone had to be crowned.
Fewer people voted for Starmer’s right-wing Labour than Corbyn’s left-wing Labour, and that will remain a reminder every day of people’s appetite for change.
While I'm delighted to see the back of the Tories, this election should remind us that our electoral system is not fit for purpose. It should not be possible to achieve a massive majority on a minority of the vote.
Getting rid of the tories and replacing them with Starmer is like fumigating your house and then releasing a stinking, shitting rat in the living room.
Jonathan Ashworth, who masqueraded as being on the left and then moved swiftly to the right and spouted all kinds of racist bile has lost his seat to a pro-Palestine independent #NoCeasefireNoVote
.@jeremycorbyn after winning his Islington seat discusses the Gaza genocide on @Channel4News and whether #KeirStarmer should declare a Palestinian state.

BREAKING:
Israel has bombed a school in Khan Younis, Gaza, where Palestinian families were seeking shelter.
A school full of refugees.
This is terrorism.
The #US is spreading Democracy again, giving #Israel 200lb bombs to commit War Crimes against the #Palestinians - And still the #EU of 'European Values' is silent...
Key takeaways from last night's UK election:
* A near-record low turnout signals the utter disillusionment with the main political parties.
* Despite facing off against the most reviled Tory party in living memory, Starmer's landslide of seats rests on a paltry vote share 5 percentage points below Corbyn's in 2017.
* Starmer won chiefly because the right is in disarray, with much of it now fomenting and chasing after a white nationalist vote.
* Starmer has sold his lack of a unifying political vision, and his refusal to offer a meaningful end to Tory austerity policies sucking wealth upwards to the rich, as the 'sensible' version of leftwing politics. That will only fuel voter disillusionment, leaving the far-right under Nigel Farage ready to pick up the pieces.
You may have heard, the Tories gained Leicester East. In reality, this UK general election was about an increase in the share of votes to those, like me, who stood as Independents.
It was a privilege to serve. I’ll continue to use my voice for social justice, equality and peace
Wes Streeting barely held onto his seat last night
Independent Leanne Mohamad (strongly against NHS privatisation) was only 500 votes short of beating him
Time to reinstate the NHS as a fully PUBLIC service
Sadiq Khan: Starmer has overseen a root & branch transformation of Labour which is why unlike in 2017 & 2019 many members of the British public were prepared to lend Labour their vote.
2017: 40% 12.8m votes
2019: 32% 10.2m votes
2024: 34% 9.6m votes
