Why all Muslims should use Amanah!
We always push writing a will to tomorrow. We think it is a lot of paperwork or we just get scared of the thought of leaving this world.
But we need to remember the weight of the Prophet's instruction on Wasiyah. He gave us a very strict timeline to work with. He said:
ما حق امرئ مسلم له شيء يوصي فيه يبيت ليلتين إلا ووصيته مكتوبة عنده
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said a Muslim who has something to bequeath should not let two nights go by without having their will written and kept with them.
Two nights. That shows the urgency. You do not want to leave your family guessing if you owed people money or where your assets are kept.
This is why an app like Amanah is a necessity. It helps you fulfill this Hadith without the old manual stress.
You log in, document your debts, list your assets, and leave your notes. It makes obeying the Sunnah easy and keeps you prepared at all times. It is the most practical way to protect your loved ones and fulfill your religious duty.
Note: this is not a form of advertisement, it is the duty I owe the Muslim Ummah.
We’re LIVE!
Amanah is officially live.

Hosting, proper domain are quite expensive… so we’re starting with what we have.
The goal? Keep Amanah FREE for everyone. No subscription.
“The Kaduna State Government pays bandits monthly allowance and supplies them with food, the bandits are so rich that they triple amount whenever they are buying food and other supplies” - Kidnap Victim
Nigerian government paying bandits is not a new news that began with Samaila Kaigama. Elrufai said it, Bashir Kurfi said it. Everyone knows it, people just don’t have the balls due to the fear of DSS.
I say let me remind you, that as at 30th June 2026, the Nisāb for Zakāt is estimated at ₦15,359,500.00.
What does that mean?
Nisab is the minimum amount of wealth a Muslim must own continuously for one lunar (Hijri) year before Zakat becomes obligatory. In this case, based on the current value of 85 grams of gold and the prevailing exchange rate, anyone whose total Zakatable assets—such as cash, savings, gold, silver, business inventory, investments, and money owed to them (after deducting eligible debts)—equal or exceed ₦15,359,500 is required to pay Zakat. The amount of Zakat due is 2.5% (one-fortieth) of the qualifying wealth, not the entire ₦15.36 million. For example, if your net Zakatable wealth is exactly ₦15,359,500, your Zakat would be about ₦383,988 (2.5%), provided you have held that level of wealth for a full Hijri year.
Fear Allãh and give out your Zakāt.
It’s coming to live!!!
I don’t want to drop the link yet because traffic since it’s presently hosted on a free hosting with limitations. Once thats sorted
It’s will be 💯 free… Insha Allah
I have an app idea called Amanah.
It came from a dark thought: what if I die and nobody knows the debts I owe?
Sometimes we keep debts private out of shame or fear.
the app would let Muslims securely record debts and obligations for the right people to access when needed.
Just a normal day in Arewa. It’s just some innocent 25 people massacred in cold blood. We’ve survived over a hundred people’s massacre, we’ve survived people burnt alive, we’ve survived pregnant women being slaughtered and their fetus being fed to the dogs. So this is just a normal slaughter day for us.

I honestly think this is one of the reasons the Prophet (SAW) encouraged people to marry within compatible social circles.
A man who grew up with maids and helps around the house will genuinely not see anything wrong with getting same or outsourcing for his wife. To him, that's normal.
Likewise, a woman who grew up being cared for will naturally struggle if she gets married only to discover her life became significantly harder than it ever was in her father's house.
At the very least, if marriage cannot make your life better, it really shouldn't make it worse.
Another thing that bothers me is the dishonesty with which many people, especially men, navigate marriage.
You want a woman who 💯 your partner. Fine.
You want her to have a career, make her own money, contribute financially to a responsibility Allah primarily placed on you. Fine.
But how do many of you treat such women?
You abuse the opportunity.
Some of you become comfortable because she can always cover the gaps. Some become lazy and complacent. Some start competing with her the moment she begins to do better. Others become envious and spend more energy trying to cut her down than build her up.
You want her to become a submissive provider.
Help you with your responsibilities while you sit back because, of course, you're the man.
We keep hearing how difficult it has become for men to provide.
Fair enough.
But can we also talk about what pregnancy does to a woman's body?
What childbirth does?
What years of breastfeeding, childcare and carrying the mental load of a home do?
Then on top of all that, she is expected to go out, work, support the family financially, come back home and run the house efficiently.
Most times with very little help.
Then people wonder why women are exhausted and fighting back. Who would not be exhausted from being a submissive wife, a financial partner, a homemaker, a mother, a caregiver, and in many cases, still carry the emotional labour of the marriage? while the supposed head of the family watches because, after all, "he is the man."
Personally, my idea of marriage has always been different.
If today I only have 30 to give, I hope you bring 70.
Tomorrow, if you only have 20, I'll gladly carry the remaining 80.
Not because it's my responsibility.
Not because it's yours.
But because that's what partnership looks like in my own book.
Instead, what we have now is everyone wanting to eat their cake and still have it.
Some women want a man who provides everything while bringing very little of value themselves.
Many men want a woman who brings almost everything to the table while they contribute only what is convenient.
Everybody wants sacrifice.
Very few people actually want to be the one sacrificing.
Selfish lots with different versions of selfishness.
That's what many of you are!
But I don't think we're ready for that conversation yet.
The 37 people and children kidnapped from Ariko in Kachia local government area of Kaduna state have been in captivity for 109 days today. The silence from the government is deafening and families are shattered. @ubasanius@officialABAT DO SOMETHING!
It's easily attainable and can be lost too, hence, very conditional.
We tend to mistake His unrestricted kindness/generosity for His divine love. It is not.
He describes what He loves and traits He loves in people He chooses, as He does what He dislikes, traits and people.
The people of Jannah, I’m back again, asking for your kindness.
Desperate even 🥹
Behind every fundraiser is a human being carrying a burden that has become too heavy to bear alone.
A young lady who is about to lose the only roof over her head and can barely afford her next meal.
Amount needed: N40,000.
A student whose certificate has been withheld because of an outstanding N3 million debt, and a mother battling a chronic illness with no source of income, desperately trying to stay alive.
We’ve reached out, we’ve contributed, we’ve shared, but it still isn’t enough.
2M is needed to complete this.
🙏🙏
Please don’t scroll past them. Today, you may be the answer to someone’s du’a. What feels small to you could be the difference between despair and relief for someone else.
No amount is too little. If you can’t donate, please share. May Allah ease your affairs just as you ease someone else’s, multiply your provision, and make your kindness heavy on your scale of good deeds. Ameen.

I was shocked when I found out that the Prophet ﷺ made a single du’a containing 47 requests.
A supplication that takes about one minute to recite, yet it asks Allah for 47 different blessings.
This statement from ʾIbn al Qayyim really stuck with me, and I want to share it so others may benefit from it too, In Shāʿ Allāh.
al-ʿImām Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said :
“When the servant falls into a sin, that harshness and hardness depart from his heart, as does that wrathful mannerism which he used to have towards the one who committed a sin. So much so that, if he had power over him, he would destroy him. He might even supplicate to Allāh against him, asking that He destroy him and seize him, out of anger for Allāh and out of zeal that disobedience shouldn’t be committed.
Thus, he finds no mercy in his heart for the sinful wrongdoers, and he sees them only through the eye of contempt and disdain. He mentions them only with a tongue of disparagement against them, fault-finding, and condemnation.
But when the decrees come upon him, and he is left alone with his own soul, he cries out to Allāh for help and seeks refuge in Him. He writhes before Him with the writhing of one who has been stricken, and he calls upon Him with the supplication of one in dire necessity.
Then that harshness [he had] toward the sinners is transformed into tenderness, and that hardness toward the wrongdoers into mercy and gentleness, while still upholding the limits of Allāh.
His supplication against them is transformed into supplication for them, and he assigns them a portion of his lifetime, asking Allāh to forgive them.
How beneficial this sight is for him! And how tremendous is its benefit and usefulness to him. And Allāh knows best”.
