I have said this many times, and I will say it again.

Science classes usually have a much higher concentration of academically strong students than art classes, and the disparity is very wide. It is not even close.
In many schools, when students struggle badly with science subjects, the usual solution is to move them to the art department because they “cannot cope”.

So, when science students end up with very high JAMB scores, it should not be surprising. When a department already has a heavy concentration of strong students, the results will naturally reflect it.

If those same students were the ones writing art combinations, you would probably be seeing plenty of 350s there, too. Maybe the issue is not JAMB at all… Maybe the gap in ability is just wider than people want to admit.

Until Nigeria is ready to give every child the same quality of teachers, classrooms, labs, libraries, and learning time…

A child in a forgotten village should not be forced to sit the same WAEC or JAMB exam as a child in elite schools in Lagos, Enugu or Abuja.

That is not lowering standards.
That is refusing to pretend equality exists when it doesn’t.

Standardised exams only make sense in a standardised system.

Anything else is a lie we tell poor children and call it opportunity.

Fix the classrooms.
Fix the teachers.
Fix the system.

Then we can talk about one exam for all.

This is a hard truth Nigeria must face.

If a police officer invites you to the station on a Friday over a petition, there’s a smart way to handle it:

Politely inform them you’re out of town and will be available on Monday.

Why?
Because weekend bail is not guaranteed, and you don’t want to spend Friday–Sunday as an unplanned “weekend tenant” at the station.

Many people don’t know their rights, and ignorance can be costly.

Key Tips:
(1) You have the right to request a convenient date to appear.

(2) Always go with a lawyer or at least inform one.

(3) Never ignore the invitation respond respectfully.

(4) Document your communication (call, text, or message).

Stay informed. Stay smart.

Nigeria is a wild place.

DSS officers are actually intelligence officials and largely undercover agents.

How can you sack them and then allow their pictures to litter the internet? Imagine what the criminal underworld can do to them and their families.

Someone who has investigated terrorism and corruption at high levels, maybe even gotten some big guys into jail. Then you sack him and post his picture publicly. By next week, when he goes missing and his body is found chopped up in a canal, we will wonder how and express shock.

Why is this country like this?
Why is there so much insanity and incompetence at the highest levels of almost all our national institutions? Who did this thing to us?
