Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
Memorial Day cookout. Beach trip. Visit with family.
All of it costs more this year.
That’s not an accident.
Trump’s tariffs and war in Iran are driving up your costs.
This event is tomorrow (Thu) morning, and you can still sign up to watch live! It will also be recorded. There has been a big uptick in wildfire activity in recent days, so this will be a timely opportunity to discuss bigger picture surrounding the "fire information landscape."
I’m asking for your help for someone special to our weather family.
Joe Glotzbach — the designer behind the Spannabama logo for the Alabama Weather Network — has had both kidneys removed and urgently needs a donor.
Husband, musician, and soon-to-be adoptive father.
Please consider becoming a donor or share this.
You could save his life.

New: Iran was not days or weeks away from having a nuclear weapon, the head of the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog told CNN, contradicting a US claim that Iran posed an imminent nuclear threat. Asked by CNN’s Becky Anderson if “the Iranians were days or weeks away from from building a bomb,” Rafael Grossi said: “No.”

Have you seen a natural kaleidoscope of lights?
Watch it til the end.
My 360 degree lens camera recorded a beautiful kaleidoscope of ##aurora last night in South Indian Lake, Manitoba.
While this show was going on, I braved the cold with a gust windchill of -45. @AuroraNotify@Storyful@StoryfulViral@StoryfulViral
Remember Donald Trump's promise to "drain the swamp"?
Well, it looks like he's embraced the swamp instead.
There are now former lobbyists in senior roles all over his administration who could be helping their former clients.
I'm calling for an investigation.
