Alhamdulillah.
The people have spoken, and I am humbled by the confidence reposed in me.
Thank you to everyone who believed in this movement and stood by us. This victory belongs to all of us.
Yola North, Yola South, and Girei will now know what true representation looks like.
This is only the beginning.
The #sarkified movement has just begun.
Thank you for believing. Thank you for standing firm. Thank you for making history.
@IsmaeelAhmedB Ah, so just because my governor is in APC means I also support APC or PBAT? Thatâs funny. Yallaboi, youâll be surprised if thatâs the assumption youâre basing your judgment on.
Funny enough, I received a message today about being awarded a 1-Year Online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the European Institute of Applied Science and Management (EIASM), with the privilege of using the âDr.â title. But honestly, I would rather continue working tirelessly toward earning the real academic Doctor title through hard work, research and dedication, especially now that the Federal Government has discouraged the use of the title without a proper PhD qualification.
I remain focused on pursuing the path that is grounded in genuine academic achievement and rigorous scholarship, rather than shortcuts or honorary designations. Thank you so much for finding me worthy though.

From Laptop to Leadership: Nigeriaâs AI Builder Using African Data to Close Gaps
At just 17 years old, Okechukwu Nwaozor embodies the new generation of African talent who are disrupting the established norms of innovation. A self-taught programmer, he founded OkeyMeta at the age of 15, a platform specializing in language models and generative AI. His flagship product, OkeyAI, stands out for its ability to process text, images, and code, while automating complex digital tasks via APIs.
Designed for developers and businesses, his solution allows users to create chatbots, virtual assistants, and analytical tools without building a model from scratch. This technical feat positions the young Nigerian among the most promising talents on the continent.
But behind this achievement lies a crucial question: what should African AI be used for? In the Nigerian market, foreign solutions are often used due to their power and accessibility. Replicating similar generalist models risks limiting the impact of local initiatives, which will quickly be overwhelmed by fierce global competition.
The challenge is therefore not only technological, but strategic. Africa must direct its innovations towards solutions rooted in its realities: anticipating floods, optimizing agricultural yields, improving access to healthcare, and developing AI in local languages. An AI capable of understanding the daily life of a farmer or a rural trader will have a far greater impact than a simple clone of a global model.
Okechukwu Nwaozor's career demonstrates that the talent is indeed there. The challenge now is to transform this technical excellence into a lever for technological independence by creating useful, inclusive, and profoundly African artificial intelligence.
