There have been bad managers of the fiscal policies of this country. They removed subsidy and devalued currency, and they did not properly understand the wider implications of that on debt service.

The children of our politicians are all graduating from schools in the UK while the citizens are tightening their belts for survival.
The same citizens are defending them.
Why the voter registration exercise should be extended.
As we continue to encourage Nigerians to participate actively in our democracy, I respectfully appeal to INEC to consider extending the voter registration window to the latest practical date that still allows adequate time for the preparation of a credible voters’ register before the 2027 general elections.
Every day, more young Nigerians attain the age of 18 and become constitutionally eligible to vote. They are not just our future; they are stakeholders in our present. It would be unfortunate if many of them were denied the opportunity to exercise their civic responsibility simply because the registration process closed long before the elections.
Moreover, this position is legally supported by the High Court judgment delivered on 22 November 2022 in Anaja Salmat & 3 Others v. INEC (Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1342/2022). In that decision, the Federal High Court held that voter registration should continue until 90 days before a general election to protect the constitutional voting rights of eligible Nigerians.
I appreciate the enormous responsibility placed on INEC to deliver free, fair, and credible elections. I also recognise the need for sufficient time to clean the register and make the necessary logistical preparations. However, our electoral process should, as much as possible, maximise participation rather than limit it.
A democracy is strengthened when every eligible citizen has the opportunity to be heard. I therefore urge INEC to adopt a registration timeline that protects the integrity of the process while ensuring that no eligible Nigerian, especially our young people, is unnecessarily disenfranchised. -PO
The Central Bank of Nigeria, which requires annual returns from banks in Nigeria, has not published an Annual report and Statement of Account since 2022.
So the government is admitting inflation has rendered N100 and N200 useless, but somehow framing it as 'digital growth'? you destroyed purchasing power to the point where small change can’t even buy pure water, then blamed citizens for not using cash. outstanding economic management! 👏
We can't even get financial reports from Tinubu and his people.
Taiwo Oyedele said they are currently preparing one.
Even Buhari published his reports, but an accountant can't.
Much Ado about Kwankwanso Interview
Sometimes you guys should try and maintain some rigor in thinking. If you believe in zoning and say “Let the south finish its term and power should go back to the north in 2031”. What does that mean? It means that any southerner coming to the presidency will only serve for one term.
This man has been saying he will do one term only to keep faith with zoning, which is a critical element of Nigeria’s political stability. He is now doing what he promised and you are crying blue murder.
Before Peter Obi came out what stopped selfless Igbos from running for presidency? What? It is now you guys realize you have not been president for 100 yrs and must do 8 years?
Why cannot your great Igbo leaders like Emeka Ihedioha, Otti, Osita, Abaribe etc not run for presidency and do 8 yrs? Why are you lot begrudging Peter Obi for respecting the zoning arrangement?
He said he believes in zoning. Zoning requires that the north takes back power in 2031. If 4 years is too short for you, then come out and run for presidency and do 8 years.
They have yet to implement up to 30 percent of the budget, but they have released the funds for judges, churches, and mosques.
Again, you are not a priority.
No wonder they hate Rufai.
It’s clear that every economic growth statistic presented by Bayo @aonanuga1956 is completely false. The closer you examines them, the more fabricated they appear.
For three and a half years, this government has led this country with lies and propaganda.
What a shame. 💔
How do you realize a Record Breaking IGR
Then go ahead on a Record Breaking borrowing spree
Only to deliver a Record Breaking "nothing to show"?
FAILURE! FAILURE!! FAILURE!!!
They are looting your nation dry.
Buying estates abroad for themselves and families.
They're global citizens with access to any country of their choices
Should Nigeria implode they have options and you don't.
Yet you're busy supporting them?
Taiwo Oyedele said the finance ministry is trying to gather reports of spending so they can publish.
Since Tinubu came to power in 2023 and implemented his Lagos model, spending has become a hidden treasure.
We don't see it at all.
Tinubu government don't even have the record of their expenses.
Just imagine asking your staff what he/she spent money on, and the person response is, Oga calm down, I still dey work on am.
Did you hear that? They’re still working on where they’re going to say the money is going according to him. The Ministry of Finance is still analysing the numbers.
Honestly, Nigeria is gone.
Kalu Ajah, you are being too charitable
They earn N7 and loot N10......
Stop using spend to describe the larceny going on under this APC house of satanic corruption
Over 70% of whatever they budget and allocate annually are looted through over invoicing, inflated contract awards , direct stealing and other forms of looting
Its the same thing across the 3 arms and tiers of Governments
What we are currently running in Nigeria is a mass of public sector led thievery and gangsterism involving less than 1m people
The political office holders , their appointees, their civil servant partners and few private sector fronts
Ndi aka na akpa ....
The Minister of Finance, in very simple terms, explained the problems with the fiscal side in Nigeria
“We earn N7 but spend N10”
If you go to a primary school and ask the students what to do, they will all tell you, “spend N7 or less silly”
But adults will use big language and argue
