Let me tell you how we got our first 121 signups for @anoria_inc

Before launch, we threw a loft party in SF followed by an afterparty at @thebattery.

To get on the guest list, every guest had to join the https://t.co/AtQVfZSxUi waitlist first.
No signup, no entry and tbh we got zero pushback.
Why? because SF is full of people exhausted by transactional networking events where everyone is secretly checking if you’re “worth” talking to.

So we didn’t throw a networking event, instead we threw a loft party people actually wanted to attend.
good music, high energy, cool people & great food.

A room you actually wanted to stay in.
We understood what people were craving first and then we gave it to them

Only after that did we ask for something in return
