నిరంజన్ ఇక లేడనే వార్త నా హృదయాన్ని తీవ్రంగా కలచివేసింది.

కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం హనుమకొండలో నిరంజన్ ఇంటికి వెళ్లి కలిసిన ఆ క్షణాలు ఇంకా నా మదిలో సజీవంగానే ఉన్నాయి. తీవ్రమైన అనారోగ్యంతో పోరాడుతూనే నా కోసం ఎదురుచూసిన ఆ చిన్నారి… నన్ను చూడగానే అతని ముఖంపై విరిసిన ఆ చిరునవ్వు… ఇవన్నీ ఎప్పటికీ మరువలేని జ్ఞాపకాలుగా నిలిచిపోతాయి.

అతని శరీరం వ్యాధితో పోరాడినా, అతని మనసు మాత్రం అపారమైన ధైర్యంతో నిలిచింది. అంతటి బాధను అనుభవిస్తూ కూడా జీవితం పట్ల అతను చూపిన ఆశ, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం ఎంతో విలువైనవి. అలాంటి ధైర్యవంతుడైన చిన్నారి ఇంత త్వరగా మనల్ని విడిచి వెళ్లిపోవడం ఎంతో బాధాకరం.

నిరంజన్ కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతిని తెలియజేస్తున్నాను. తీరని దుఃఖాన్ని భరించే శక్తిని భగవంతుడు వారికి ప్రసాదించాలని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.

ప్రియమైన నిరంజన్… నువ్వు చూపించిన చిరునవ్వు, ధైర్యం, నువ్వు పంచిన ప్రేమ నా హృదయంలో ఎప్పటికీ నిలిచిపోతాయి. నీ ఆత్మకు శాంతి చేకూరాలని భగవంతుడిని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.

ఒక సంవత్సరం కాదు… రెండు సంవత్సరాలు కాదు… దాదాపు పదిహేనేళ్లుగా మీరు నడుము నొప్పి, భుజం నొప్పితో ఎంత నరకం అనుభవించారో తలచుకుంటే నా గుండె బరువెక్కిపోయింది. చిన్న పంటి నొప్పి వచ్చినా మనిషి విలవిల్లాడిపోతాడు. అలాంటిది మీరు ఇన్ని సంవత్సరాలు ఆ బాధను చిరునవ్వు వెనుక దాచుకుని జీవించడం నిజంగా అసాధారణం.

నాకు ఈ రోజు కూడా గబ్బర్ సింగ్ షూటింగ్ రోజులు కళ్లముందే కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. గుజరాత్‌లో జరిగిన ఆ ప్రమాదం… గుర్రం మీద నుంచి పడిపోయిన ఆ క్షణం… వైద్యులు వెంటనే ఆపరేషన్ చేయించుకోవాలని చెప్పిన సందర్భం… ఇవన్నీ ఇప్పటికీ నా మనసును వెంటాడుతూనే ఉన్నాయి.

ఆ సమయంలో మీరు ఒక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. అది ఒక హీరో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం కాదు… మాటకు ప్రాణం ఇచ్చే మహామనిషి తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం.

“ముందు సినిమా పూర్తి చేద్దాం… నిర్మాతకు ఇబ్బంది కలగకూడదు… ఇన్ని వందల మంది కష్టపడుతున్నారు…” అని మీ శరీరం భరించలేని నొప్పిని గుండెల్లో దాచుకుని, ఆపరేషన్‌ను వాయిదా వేసి, షూటింగ్ పూర్తి చేసి, సినిమా విడుదలయ్యే వరకు మాకు అండగా నిలిచారు.

ఒక నిర్మాతగా ఆ రోజున మీరు నాకు ఇచ్చింది ఒక హిట్ సినిమా మాత్రమే కాదు… జీవితాంతం మర్చిపోలేని ఋణం. ఆ ఋణాన్ని నేను ఏ జన్మలోనూ తీర్చలేను.

ఈ రోజు మీ ఆరోగ్యం గురించి ఆలోచిస్తుంటే నా హృదయం ముక్కలవుతోంది. ఆ రోజున మీ బాధను నేను పూర్తిగా అర్థం చేసుకోలేకపోయానేమో… కానీ ఈ రోజు ఆ బాధ ఎంత పెద్దదో అర్థమవుతోంది.

దేవుడిని ఒక్కటే కోరుకుంటున్నాను… మీరు అనుభవించిన ప్రతి నొప్పికి ప్రతిఫలంగా ఇకపై మీ జీవితంలో ఆరోగ్యం, ఆనందం, ప్రశాంతత మాత్రమే ఉండాలి. ఎందుకంటే మీరు తెరపై మాత్రమే కాదు… నిజ జీవితంలో కూడా ఎందరో మనుషుల జీవితాలను నిలబెట్టిన నిజమైన హీరో.

మీరు ఆరోగ్యంగా నవ్వుతూ ఉండటమే… మీపై ప్రేమ ఉన్న మా అందరికీ అతిపెద్ద సంతోషం.

As lot of people are curious about this photograph. And this photograph brings back memories of a time marked by deep conversations around the Telangana movement and the idea of Samajika Telangana.

Those were the days when Bahujan thought, social justice, and the political empowerment of neglected communities were central to many of our discussions. Along with Telangana intellectuals, Bahujan activist Augustine garu, revolutionary singer Gaddar garu, and others, we often reflected on the future of Telangana, the need for a just distribution of political power, and the larger vision of Samajika Telangana.

This picture is from the pre-PRP days, when Augustine garu and Gaddar garu visited our home after my father Sri Konidala Venkat Rao garu demise. Beyond politics, it remains a cherished memory of a time when conversations were deeply rooted in social change, equality, and the aspiration to see social justice translated into political power.
