ಲಂಚವನು ಒಲ್ಲೆನು, ಭ್ರಷ್ಟತೆಯ ನಶಿಸುವೆ,
ಸದಾ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿರುವೆ ಎಂದು ಪುಂಗಿದನು.

ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಟ್ಟು ನೀವು ಮತವನು ನೀಡಿದಿರಿ,
ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮುಗಿಯಿತೆಂದು ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದಿರಿ.

ಈಗ ಕಪ್ಪುಹಣ, ಸೋರಿಕೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದರೆ,
ಆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆಶ್ವಾಸನೆಗಳು ಹುಸಿಯಾಗೆ, ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದಿರಿ.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಅವನ ಉತ್ತರವದೇನು?
ದನಿಯಡಗಿಸಲು ತನ್ನ ಶ್ವಾನಪಡೆಯನು ಛೂಬಿಟ್ಟನು!

ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ತೂರಿ, ಸಿಡಿಗುಂಡುಗಳ ಹಾರಿಸಿ ಬೀದಿಯಲಿ ದಂಡಿಸಿದನು,

Good News.

NHAI has said NO to the unscientific demands of jobless uncles and aunties. The ramps of the flyover at Manipal Junction of Bengaluru - Mysuru expressway will not be altered.

The forest department has given its permission to cut 350 trees & translocate 258, without altering the design of the original plan.

ಸುಮ್-ಸುಮ್ನೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ನಗರ, ಸುಂದರ ನಗರ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಅಂತ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೈಸೂರಿಗೆ. ಇದು ಈ ಮಣ್ಣು & ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗುಣ. ಮೈಸೂರು ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯಗಳೂ ಸಹ ಬಹಳ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿ, ಚೊಕ್ಕವಾಗಿವೆ. ಕೆಳಗಿನ ವೀಡಿಯೋದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಮೈಸೂರು ನಗರಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹಾ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಅಂದವಾದ ವೃತ್ತಗಳಿವೆ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ.

ಇಂತಹ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ನಗರವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸುಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಮ್ಮ-ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರದು.

Who, with a sane mindset will alter the ramp of a PERMANENT FLYOVER to save 40 trees? Today the traffic may be less. However, will Mysuru face the same kind of traffic in the next 2 years? What should Mysureans do when the bottleneck arises?

If they are already relocating 250 trees, why can’t they relocate the extra 40 trees as well?
