You pray to the river, call it your mother, then throw your garbage into it.
Faith means nothing if you leave a trail of plastic behind. Carry your trash home.
The river is not your dustbin. 🙏
Toward the end of August, I travelled to Taksing and the Maza sector in Arunachal Pradesh, where Indian Army and PLA troops are engaged in a standoff.
Watch this ground report to know what is really happening on the India-China border.

India stopped giving permits for new HFC gas factories after December 2027 that means no one can build new plants
SRF runs 52,000 tons per year of HFC capacity and is pushing to 65,000+ tons before that door closes. So SRF locks in permanent supply while competitors cannot enter. Chemicals revenue grew 26% in Q1 FY27 to ₹2,315 crore, and that was before quota scarcity even started.
SRF also began selling R-467A, first Indian refrigerant gas with global approval
SRF knows all 8 ways to put fluorine into chemical compounds. Most Indian competitors know only 2 that gap gives SRF ability to make products across full range. Simple refrigerant gases sit at bottom and earn less.
PVDF for batteries sits in middle and earns more. Ultra pure HF for chip making sits at top. SRF more than doubled its investment in next generation gases, raising HFO capex from ₹1,100 crore to ₹2,285 crore. SRF chemicals growth target for FY27 is 15% to 20%
India battery cell scheme has one strict rule. Every approved manufacturer must use 60% Indian made materials within 5 years.
Battery cells need PVDF, plastic binder that holds battery chemicals together. They also need battery grade foil. Very few Indian companies can make these today. SRF is building PVDF plant right now and expects real volumes by FY28. India’s battery demand is projected to reach 220 GWh by 2030.
Cell makers will have to buy PVDF from Indian suppliers, and SRF starts first
China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops have effectively denied Indian forces access to key patrolling points in the Taksing area of Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh and are steadily expanding control over traditional Indian grazing and hunting grounds along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. This is as per the report from the fact-finding committee (FFC) deputed by the People's Party of Arunachal (PPA).
This is not two and a half front war. It will be 360 degrees. Remember?

A couple of months ago, I visited a drone manufacturer, and I think we’ll be pleasantly surprised to see that they’ve developed something like this entirely in-house. India’s private defence ecosystem is grinding hard

Ashoke Sen becomes the first Indian physicist to receive the Oskar Klein medal. Jointly awarded by Stockholm University and the Nobel Committee for Physics of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, the medal is named after Swedish physicist Oskar Klein and is given for work in theoretical physics and cosmology. https://t.co/COyN6QvHaE

Commerce Minister @PiyushGoyal being as frank, nice and yet assertive as one can be in calling out the duplicity of the west when it comes to #climate change protection and efforts needed.
Apple’s iPhone story in India is a plus and a minus.
FY26 production: $26 billion
Exports: $21.5 billion
Component imports: $22.3 billion
Electronics PLI incentives: ₹19,090 crore
Jobs generated: 1.67 lakh
The plus: jobs, exports, technology transfer and global supply-chain integration.
The minus: heavy subsidies, imported components and limited domestic value addition.
It will really make sense now to move from assembling iPhones to designing, engineering and inventing the technology inside them.
More than 1500 years ago, a 23-year-old Indian astronomer calculated π as 3.1416. His name? Aryabhatta.

Meanwhile, LCA Navy 2/TEDBF, tailor-made for Vikrant is waiting for sanction of $1.7 B for the past decade.

🚨 Indian entrepreneur Sam Pasupalak builds SKY-001, an AI model for engineering design.
He claims it beats GPT-6 Astra on CAD tasks at about 150 times lower cost.
The Indian origin CEO of a company which has the world's best engineering design AI model now, bettering frontier models like GPT Astra, is open to collaborating for using the model in India's engineering design and development.
It's a foreign company, sure. But something can be worked out, I think. If some initiative is taken by GoI to see if their model can be deployed securely for India's engineering R&D purposes. I think India needs to fast adopt cutting edge AI in design and development.
IMO, India must create special incentives for Indian founded companies in the world to start operations in India and bring their tech to India sooner. Most are innovating cutting edge tech and doing wonderful things. India should benefit from it.

Bittu Tabahi spent 8 months cleaning a river with his own hands and his efforts were appreciated and got viral. Within weeks, people had turned it into a garbage dump again. So heartbreaking!
I just don’t know how we can create greater civic sense amongst our people
China has imposed new export controls on Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs). India might be the focus, as it says exports to “sensitive countries and regions in dispute with China” will need a licence. The export controls list includes full-face TBMs, cutterheads, screw conveyors, segment erectors, main drives, cutting tools and shotcrete machines for altitudes above 3,000 m.
So what will it take for India to move away from imports and build TBMs domestically?
1. Cutting tools wear out quickly underground, and India still imports the toughest ones. It is an emerging capability.

That is our Factory 1 in the second video of your post. Seeing it there made our team proud.
"Daring to build things we once assumed could only be built elsewhere" is what we set out to do.
Arattai has seen some nice updates recently. Check them out!
Arattai also comes with excellent meeting capability out of the box (separate from group calls) and it works nicely across mobile and desktop. Try it!
