Today is SpaceX’s first earnings call as a public company.

I found out the top questions submitted by shareholders are about Asteroid — Liv’s Asteroid.

Her final wish before she passed was for Asteroid to become the official SpaceX mascot.

Elon honored that wish.

And now, on the biggest financial stage this company has ever stood on, people are still talking about the little Shiba she designed and named.

I don’t have the words for how that lands.

She drew him. She dreamed him into space.

And somehow he is still showing up in rooms she never got to enter.
Thank you, Elon, for keeping your word to her.

I wish more than anything she was here so I could tell her.

This isn’t about tokens or charts.

It’s about a 15-year-old girl who loved the stars so much that her creation is still flying with every mission.

The public outcry over the cuts to Jodrell Bank and UK physics is genuinely encouraging. It is not often expressed this way, but people in the UK have a deep appreciation for the inspiration we draw from studying the cosmos and seeking to understand the fundamental laws of nature. You can see it in the crowds at public lectures, science museums and places such as Jodrell Bank.

British astronomers and physicists have been at the forefront of discovery since the emergence of physics as a modern science and it has long played an important role in the life of this country. It is (unfortunately) rarely an issue coming up in elections, but when a government threatens the institutions and symbols of British science, the public response reveals just how deeply it runs through the nation’s cultural DNA.

These cuts have plunged UK physics into crisis. But the strength of the reaction to them is really, really reassuring!

Our team at Honeybee Robotics, a Blue Origin company, recently passed Critical Design Review for our lunar rover flying on a @FireflySpace Blue Ghost mission to the Moon’s Gruithuisen Domes in 2028. This marks a major milestone on the path to flight build. Next up: our mobility and navigation test vehicle will continue putting miles on the lunar analog facility floor as we prepare for flight.
