@radioKristy Absolutely tone deaf to give feds a stat when so many people are struggling to make ends meet. Change Victoria Day to Elizabeth Day. #GodSaveTheQueen
I’m so sorry to hear this about my high school friend. Although known for her political reporting she also covered community news on Page 6. Sue won a provincial journalism award 4 a series on Autism and invited me 2 the ceremony because it was inspired by my son Dillon. RIP.
I’m so sorry to hear this horrible news. Sue was a must-read columnist who was tough but fair and incredibly passionate about our city. I will miss her humour and her friendship.
Great to see journalist and businessperson @_MarkSutcliffe is running to be Ottawa's next mayor. Just the sort of solid, middle of the road candidate this needs.
@ChristaLowry Wishing you every success. You’ve handle these past years with a steady hand. Your commitment to your community shows through in everything you do. #leadership
@RobSnow15 Jeremy opened his campaign office for charging and had food and water available, gathered info on community supports and disseminated and he and some volunteers visited and helped in hard hit areas remove debris. #stormresponse
Honestly. Civilians are dying in Ukraine. Children are starving in Yemen. And the people protesting in downtown #Ottawa still have the guts to demand “freedom”? In a country with health care, public education, social services and a democratically elected government?
