The need for immediate response is urgent and time is running out. Listen to @samaKiki88 calling on the @ICRC to fulfill its mandate in #Syria and reveal the fate of the disappeared. The families are left alone to desperately search for answers about their loved ones.

My father’s photo today in Damascus, at the funeral of Mazen al-Hamada’s who got killed under torture in Assad’s prisons.
For years, people said I was delusional and should accept my dad is dead. But thousands returned after being thought dead!
No news yet but I won’t give up!
My father and mother lived in #Hama in the first few years of their marriage between 1977- 1982. They left Hama in Feb 1982 during the Hama Massacre. They told us how they escaped the heavy artillery shelling by the Assad family with 3 kids. #Hama is today a city without #Assad
Today marks the conclusion of TIMEP's 2023-2024 Nonresident Fellowship cohort. We are incredibly proud to have hosted this dynamic group of advocates who offered timely analysis, solutions, and programming in response to some of the MENA region's most complex challenges.
My great pleasure to be part of @TimepDC family, learn and exchange with the team and the fellows on #HLP rights and #gender in #Syria and the region, I am really lucky to have worked with Timep team who is incredibly supportive and it is just the start ❤️ and many more to come
