@ABlinken No it does not. It was a disaster. Your party( Barack and Joe) have handed the gangster regime billions in cash money for appeasement. Go back and review Jimmy Carter era, the founder of Islamic Gangsters of Iran.
Operation Economic Outcast has caused the rial to hit record lows. We will continue to degrade the Iranian regime’s ability to fund terrorism and develop a nuclear weapon.
Today alone, and in Kyiv alone, Russian jet-powered drones “vanquished” two kindergartens and two schools, an ordinary residential building, an auto repair shop, several warehouses, and communications facilities. Anywhere in the world, this choice of targets would be called by one word – terrorism. Russia has no military objective whatsoever in doing this – it is purely an attempt to break people and inflict as much harm as possible on our society. Tragically, there are people killed… My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured. Overall, since yesterday, the Russians have used 277 attack drones of various types, 155 of them jet-powered. Among the damaged sites is also a building used as the residence of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. In the Dnipro region, a sports school is among the damaged facilities. In the Sumy region, the building of a regional children’s home was damaged.
If Russia were truly preparing for any real steps toward de-escalation – as it claims, particularly to American negotiators – this wave of “shahed” terror would not be happening. And we need to take a sober view of the situation. Russia knows how to send the kind of encouraging diplomatic signals that the world simply wants to hear… It knows how to send such signals in order to delay tough steps by the world in response to the war.
In America, the important Lindsey Graham sanctions and tariffs law has already reached the implementation stage. It is a law that can change a lot for the better if fully implemented. This law needs to be implemented – and everyone in the world can see that there is EVERY REASON to apply it and A CLEAR PURPOSE for doing so. We are counting on effective decisions from the world and stronger pressure from our partners, so that Russia sees that manipulating diplomatic signals will not allow it to keep winning more and more time for war and terror. It is important that our other partners in the G7 and G20 also take a principled stance.
New sanctions packages are being prepared – specifically targeting financial networks, supply chains for components and equipment used in the production of Russian weapons, and specific companies and individuals primarily involved in the production of Russian ballistic missiles. The new sanctions must take effect as early as October to provide a stronger foundation for changing the situation and pushing Russia toward real diplomacy. Thank you to everyone who helps Ukraine! Thank you to everyone working 24/7 to provide greater protection for Ukrainians and our state!
Following the launch of Operation Economic Outcast, @USTreasury imposed targeted financial measures against banks and aviation service providers. At my direction, teams were dispatched across the globe to engage with countries and demand action against the Iranian regime.
These efforts are delivering results. Türkiye and Oman announced the cessation of Mahan Air flights to their countries. The UAE has halted all flights by Iranian airlines, and top commercial banks in the UAE and Türkiye have stopped transacting with Iran.
Even Iran’s leadership has acknowledged the economic toll of the war, as the value of the rial has fallen to record lows.
I appreciate the governments of the UK, Türkiye, Oman, and the UAE. We will continue working together as there is more to be done to prevent Tehran from carrying out its terrorist agenda.

@BernieSanders Bernie, you remind me of Islamic gangsters of Iran. They also for years talked about Oligarchy, authoritarianism and inequality. Until they took over the government of Iran back in 1979. Now you see them on tv every day.
America beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Chuck. It is nice how you judge president Trump for trying to broker a deal with China.
You were absent the last 4 years during sleepy Joe Biden reign. You and your so called “democratic” party are all about deception, division and spreading fear.
It is time for Washington to have new leadership. You have already done your damages.
@elonmusk Indeed. Unfortunately a lot of people fall for the great speeches they make to their base. This charity scheme is probably the tip of the iceberg.
President Donald Trump said Friday that he is "banning" CNN, MS NOW and Politico "from the White House." The president said it was "effective immediately," but there was no indication his administration had taken any steps to follow through. https://t.co/Wj4ml3NGHh
Chuck,
You know it well that these companies are no longer about journalism. They are political action groups with the aim of pushing forward your fake news narrative. The Democratic Party is all about divisiveness, deception and spreading fear. Enough cheating and smooth talking.
@SenSanders Stop posting deceptive nonsense designed to mislead young, naive people.

You should move to socialist Europe and enjoy affordability. Move.
I saw a real missile made by North Korea in Ukraine. I did not see a Chinese missile. But I know that their technologies get to Russia. The machinery they use comes from China, likely along with smart people and technologies.
I don’t see China pushing Russia to stop the war. I never saw that. Maybe they do that during some of their bilateral meetings. I don’t know. But I think that they have huge influence over Russia, especially now, when there are a lot of sanctions, the shadow fleet, and cut-off energy and banking systems. Of course, China can find a way to push Putin toward negotiations. I’m sure, but they didn’t do it. And if you can and don’t, is it support or not?
It’s a pity that China is not on our side in this war, politically. It’s not even about weapons. It’s about political will. And it’s a pity because this war can be stopped immediately by strong leaders, including China. It’s a pity that they are not on our side. But that’s not the problem. That’s a pity. The problem is that they are not in the middle. Because they are a little bit more with Russia. And for them to be a little bit more with Russia – I mean, not to give weapons directly, but to be more open to them, more helpful to them than to us – for such a big country, a little bit is a lot.
