@iamisla_ Just go to work, go into the HR director’s office, say, “I’m sick but I came anyway. Just want you to notice that.” Then vomit as much as possible on their office floor and pass out.
@dom_lucre As a follower of Jesus, I am not “at war” with Judaism or Islam, or any other religion, but each of these disagree about who God is and how one can have a right relationship to God and receive eternal life and a place in heaven.
@theastrocosmo@dom_lucre Washington is full of people who are working hard to force their beliefs on the world. The difference in them and this guy is the Washington thugs have government power and trillions of our tax dollars to make it happen.
@DawnSchwar59979@DefiantLs The @FairTaxOfficial consumption tax plan is excellent. No income tax, no IRS, protections for low income folks, and the biggest spenders are the biggest tax payers.
@beinlibertarian I am an evangelical Christian, but I don’t support politicians. I support good policies, regardless of who presents them. And this statue has no effect on me, good or bad. Life is too short to get worked up about such things.
@LibertarianLars@SEIUPres Actually, those who make more and spend more will actually pay more. Why would anyone, especially the left, not get on board? The only downside is that it takes away their social/class engineering power. But that’s a huge upside for me.
@TB1Kinobe No one in my family plays with knives or thin metal objects near the electrical outlets. At least not twice.
Most manufacturers make their 90 degree plugs for a ground down configuration. On a ground up, those plugs are under constant stress from gravity.
@micah_erfan Angry? No. Perturbed? Yes. The government is choosing to benefit one group at the expense of others. Why aren’t people in trade schools included? Why are you going to buy the college student’s books but not the mechanic’s tools? The government has no business playing favorites.
@LeenAlphaXx@UnpolishedSaint@dom_lucre Define “basic housing.” How many sq.ft? How many bedrooms, baths? What size closets? What kind of countertops? How new a house? I live in an expensive market, but a 1200 sq ft home built in the 1970s does not cost $500k. My new 1700 sq.ft. house on 1.4 acres is $400k.
